AVF now has an information gathering discussion where you can report information to us. Please use the relevant template when reporting and follow the discussion rules. Here's an example of some information we've been gathering.

Date: 14 Jan 22

Subject: Conversations with the General Public during Rideshare

Sourcing: Uber driver observing 12 passengers speaking about general COVID / media / QLD government topics throughout the AM shift

Information:

- 90% (11 passengers) stated they were vaccinated

- 80% (10 passengers) stated they believe the media is “digging themselves a hole”

- 30% (4 passengers) stated that the vaccinations and face masks do not work

- 50% (6 passengers) stated they are just doing what is right and do no want to die from COVID. Of note these 6 passengers were aged approximately 20 - 25

- 20% (2 passengers) do not really care what is going on

- 20% (2 passengers) stated the government have no idea what they are doing

- 10% (1 passenger) stated the media must be banned from broadcasting anymore COVID related material

The L1 group is like a funnel to direct current and ex serving members to a place to co-ordinate in person vetting where we will confirm your service in order to add you to layer 2 [L2]. There may be some scope for online vetting for L2 depending on necessity and vetter availablity.

The L1 group is also a place for you to chat with and support other current and ex serving members.
