Al-Jasiyah 45:26
قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُحۡيِيكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يَجۡمَعُكُمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
English - Mohsin Khan/Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Say (to them): "Allah gives you life, then causes you to die, then He will assemble you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt. But most of mankind know not."
Dhivehi - Abu Bakr Ibrahim Ali (Bakurube)
(26) (އޭ رسول الله އެވެ!) ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! (ދުނިޔޭގައި ކަލޭމެންގެ އަސަރުވެސް ނެތީސް) ކަލޭމެން ދިރުއްވަނީ ﷲ އެވެ. ދެން ދުނިޔޭގައި އުޅެ، ކަލޭމެންގެ عمر ހަމަވުމުން މަރުއްވަނީވެސް ހަމަ އެކަލާނގެއެވެ. (ކުރި عمل ތަކަށް ދެން ހިސާބު ބައްލަވައި، ޖަޒާދެއްވުމަށް) ކަލޭމެން އެއްކުރައްވާ، محشر ކުރައްވާނީވެސް ހަމަ އެކަލަނގެއެވެ. އެކަމާ ދޭތެރޭ އެއްވެސް ޝައްކެއް ނެތެވެ. އެހެން ނަމަވެސް ގިނަ މީހުންނަކަށް އެކަމެއް ނޭނގެއެވެ.

Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful.

(3) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އޭނާއަށް މަގުދެއްކީމެވެ. (އެއީ ރަނގަޅު މަގެވެ.) އެހެންޏާ އޭނާ ހެޔޮމަގުންގޮސް ޝިރުކުވެރިއަކުކަމުގައި ވުމަށެވެ. އެހެންޏާ އޭނާ ނުބައިމަގުންގޮސް ކާފަރު ވުމަށެވެ. (އެއީ އޭނާގެ އިޚްތިޔާރެވެ.)

وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمْ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْمِحَالِ
And Ar-Ra‘d[1] (thunder) glorifies and praises Him, and so do the angels because of His Awe. He sends the thunderbolts, and therewith He strikes whom He wills, yet they (disbelievers) dispute about Allah. And He is Mighty in strength and Severe in punishment.

(من يدعوني فأستجيب له؟)
"Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation?" ⁽¹⁾
Is this conditional upon the ˹night˺ prayer?
He replied: This is not conditional upon the ˹night˺ prayer. The one who is in a state of Junub (ritual impurity) may supplicate while in bed, as may the menstruating woman, the one who is walking on the road, and others as well.
The last third of the night is a time when every supplicant is answered, and the Lord descends at this time and says: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation?"
So, Al-Qiyām (i.e., the night prayer) during these hours, as well as supplicating to the Lord in prayer and outside of prayer, is recommended. (While It is proven that) when one is in prayer and prostrating, it is closer to being answered.

[1] Ḥadīth: Ṣaḥīḥ Al-Bukhārī 1145
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?"
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، وَأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الآخِرُ يَقُولُ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ ".
