🇭🇺🇪🇺 Hungary received assurances that its funds, still frozen from EU funds, will not be sent to Ukraine, stated Orban.
A total of 27 billion euros remain frozen in Budapest; another 10.2 billion was given by Brussels in December, but less than 1.5 has been received so far.
Orban also mentioned that Budapest accepted the EU's proposal to develop a mechanism to verify the reasonable use of funds allocated to Ukraine.
Reuters, however, reported after the agreement on Ukraine that EU funds for Hungary would remain frozen and that Orban supposedly achieved nothing.
