Russia will find a way to curtail threats to its national security in connection with NATO's increased military presence near its borders, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing in relation to the upcoming Nordic Response drills under the auspices of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on March 3-14.
"Our country will not leave the bolstering of NATO's military potential near its borders without a response, it will take relevant defense measures in order to curtail threats to its national security," she noted.

Valery Zaluzhny, head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was not present at the first reading of the document in Rada, said Irina Gerashchenko, deputy of the Ukrainian parliament.
Mobilization Bill tightens the rules. According to the new bill, electronic summons are introduced, and the rights of evaders are limited, up to blocking bank accounts and banning the usage of vehicles. Citizens of Ukraine will have to present a military ticket at the first request of employees of the military enlistment office (territorial acquisition centers) and police officers. If the ticket is not with them, then violators will be delivered to the military enlistment office for trial. In addition, the bill says that consular services for men living outside the borders of Ukraine aged 18 to 60 years will be provided only if they have military approved documents.
