Along with project management, class collaboration is one of the most important skills that people need to build today — blue and white collar need to learn how to talk to each other, to trust each other, and believe in the competence of their different skills.

Vance may not be as bad of a pick as we think. I don’t know enough about him but this is very interesting.
Many signs point to him being a Machiavellian /ourguy/. He could also just be keeping tabs on dissident groups.
I can’t tell. Don’t know what to make of him.

A follower of mine introduced to me the idea of “xenonationalism” and I think this is a phenomena worth exploring. Thank you Bob for bringing it up.

I have a crackpot theory that disgust response as an emotion, which seems to be influenced by genetics, tied to xenophobia and cleanliness as it is, while found in many populations has to be over represented in the European French, and Québécois (who are Norman in origin).
The frogs have a unique level of xenophobia and disdain for foreigners that you just don’t see in some others innately. Sure it’s blunted by liberalism and their republican models, but nobody else is so annoyingly stubborn and petty. The French are arrogant — even to other Latin peoples. Spanish and Italians especially. You see this in Canada with their absolutely petty language laws that needlessly waste taxpayer dollars.
Macron will go to Africa and tell the blacks to their face they’re responsible for why Africa is a dumpster fire, but then hug African soccer players.

Examples of this: Charles De Gaulle agreed with the German-sympathizing Phillip Petain of Vichy France during WW2, on every single social and political issue and policy — except that France should or would be subordinate to Germany.
This is literally the sole reason De Gaulle led the Free French. He was a 6’5” or 198cm tall eugenicist, hardcore Catholic national-conservative of an old noble family that was dethroned during the French Revolution. He was completely obsessed with his heritage and medieval warrior ethics growing up on a diet of the Song of Roland and Medieval chivalry. Apparently a huge fan of Charlemagne and Napoleon.
No matter what though, France would not submit to Germany or Hitler under any circumstances. That takes a distinctive level of xenophobia and pride.

Turn the other cheek?
Hávamál, Stanza 42
“If you have a friend you trust well, go visit him often, for the path where no one travels grows over with weeds; and you should repay a friend’s hatred with hard hostility, and give back treachery for lies.”
Iliad, Book 16:
“Patroclus, you will not bring healing light to that dark, deadly force. But you shall pay in full with your life for all the Achaeans you have killed.”

On a more serious note I can’t stress enough how important this is. Things will get real here in Canada. We’re already taking risks by having our Telegram channels, and X accounts — freedom of speech does not legally exist here. The government can, and will come after you for what you say — even if they currently struggle with the manpower, competence and resources to do so. The speech Bill would be the final nail in the coffin.

I've been a bit aimless as of late. A bit lazy and miserable. However, recently, I bought a rapier. My mood and life have immediately seen improvement.

Not too long ago, I reflected on the strength, power and importance of hate.
Give hate a chance.
