World Record: Longest Remote Robotic Surgery

A surgeon in Kuwait has made history by successfully performing a robotic surgery on a patient in Brazil. The doctor and the patient were in two different rooms, separated by 12,035 kilometers, yet the operation was done in near real-time using advanced robotic technology. This shows how far modern medicine has come.

This achievement sets a new world record for the longest distance between a doctor and a patient during a robotic surgery. It proves that in the future, patients may get expert medical care from anywhere in the world, even if the best doctor is very far away.

<unknown>
On this jumuah, let your heart be light,
Trust in Allah’s plan, everything will be alright.
Recite your dhikr, feel peace from above,
Embrace His mercy, wrap yourself in His love.

Remember, every prayer is a bridge to the divine,
A way to align your heart and mind.
So rise with faith, and walk your path true,
Allah’s guidance is always there for you.                                                                                                                                                    اللهم اجعلنا من الذين يستمعون القول فيتبعون أحسنه،
اللهم ارزقنا رضاك، واغفر ذنوبنا، ووفقنا لما تحب وترضى.

🧠 Project Spotlight: The "Google" for Islamic Scholarship

We talk a lot about ChatGPT, but have you seen usul.ai?

This isn't just a chatbot. It is an AI-powered research engine designed specifically for Islamic texts.

What makes it incredible:

Massive Scale: It doesn't just search the Quran; it searches 15,000+ classical texts (Hadith, Fiqh, Usul, History).
Semantic Search: You don't need to match keywords exactly. You can ask a concept like *"What are the conditions of a valid contract?"* and it finds the relevant discussions across different Madhabs.
Source Verification: Unlike standard AI that "hallucinates," Usul is built to cite specific pages and volumes from trusted books.

👨‍💻 The Dev Lesson:
This shows us that "Islamic Tech" isn't just about prayer times. There is a huge open field in NLP (Natural Language Processing) for Arabic and classical texts.

Islamic Ethics in Tech #30: No Gharar (Avoiding Excessive Uncertainty)

Gharar means excessive uncertainty, ambiguity, or deception in agreements and dealings.

Allah says:

“O you who believe! Do not consume one another’s wealth unjustly, but only [in lawful] trade by mutual consent.” (4:29)

Avoiding Gharar in tech looks like:

Clear contracts & terms
Transparent pricing, scope, timelines, and responsibilities, no hidden clauses.

Honest communication
No overpromising features, timelines, or results that aren’t guaranteed.

Are your products and agreements clear enough that everyone truly knows what they’re signing up for?

#5 Sahaba Stories for Modern Hearts:
Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA): Justice, Guided

People think justice and mercy can’t coexist.
Islam taught us , “Be soft and Be fair.”

The Qur’an commands:
“Stand firm in justice.” (4:135)

When a slave girl died in a game gone wrong, Ali (RA) ruled that all families should share the blood money equally. Status didn’t matter justice did.

He ruled an empire but mended his own shoes.
He led armies yet carried water for widows.
Power never corrupted his compassion.

lessons :
🔸Justice isn’t weakness. It’s directed strength.
🔸Lead with principle, not ego.
🔸When you stand for justice, you stand with Allah.
