American taxpayers fund its protection, our military defends its waters, and American businesses fuel its economy. My bill advances President Trump’s America First agenda.

If certain moderate Republicans want to start elsewhere, where do they suggest?

✅ Permanently abolishing USAID?

✅ Recognizing that there are only TWO genders: male and female?

✅ Protecting children from barbaric genital mutilation surgeries?

✅ Making English the official language of the United States?

I have bills ready for all of it. But let’s be clear, we should be voting to codify every single executive order President Trump issues. That includes the billions in rescissions made by the fantastic DOGE team.

Mike Lawler usually isn’t the guy in the conference with the best ideas, after all we lost a Republican held seat to a Democrat the last time Republicans voted for one of his “great” strategy.

Now Mike Lawler is a NO on Trump’s big beautiful bill because he won’t accept a SALT cap increase from $10K to $30K per year.

And the deduction applies to those who make under $400,000 per year.

While yes taxes in Democrat controlled New York are ridiculous, but if a $30,000 State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction isn’t good enough for those making under $400,000 then you need to either vote Republican in NY or you need to move!

A $2 million dollar house in Lawler’s district is going to have property taxes around $30,000+ per year, so the $30,000 SALT cap would allow them to deduct their entire property taxes off their federal taxes if they make under $400,000 per year!!!

With the median income of $118,882 in Lawler’s district the SALT cap of $30,000 should be an easy YES for Mike Lawler.

The rest of America doesn’t want to and shouldn’t have to make up the difference!!!!!

And Mike Lawler has a toss up seat.

What’s the point in Republicans fighting to protect and keep re-electing “Republicans” if they constantly undermine the agenda America voted for???

Lawler introduced a bill in 2023 moving SALT caps to $20,000 and now he is a NO on our reconciliation bill because he says our bill raises SALT caps to $30,000 and says that is not enough! 

SALT caps at $30,000 is for Lawler’s district allows 93% of his constituents to write off their entire property tax bill!

Lawler can win re-election on that and the $30,000 SALT caps is even better than the measly $20,000 SALT cap he put in his own legislation.  

He should be saying thank you to all of us from red states that are supporting the SALT caps being raised to $30,000 to help his constituents in his terrible blue states.

But instead he is grandstanding and refusing to vote for the most important legislation that we can accomplish this term.  The tax law is about to expire and that will raise taxes 65% on everyone.  

Then we have the other wing of our conference who just voted NO in the budget committee mark up on the reconciliation budget. 

The Freedom Caucus now refuses to vote for the bid beautiful bill because it doesn’t cut Medicaid enough.

This group, Clyde, Roy, Norman, and Brecheen are all in nice red seats and I think they are screwing things up just as badly as RINO Mike Lawler.

I would argue that it is all of them that don’t appreciate our majority like I do!

I just want to pass the big beautiful bill, Trump’s EOs, and DOGE rescission cuts and win, win, win!!

Then we can do another reconciliation bill and hopefully get another bite at the apple to win some more!

Lawler, Clyde, Norman, Roy, and Brecheen never supported Trump until the end of the election cycle until they had no choice.  They never went to rally after rally all over the country like I did, and I went to more than anyone fighting to win.  These guys have no idea what made millions of people stand in lines for hours, give Trump standing ovations, and hold their hand over their hearts and cry.  

But I do.

Because I was there with them.

It wasn’t SALT caps or Medicaid cuts. 

It was NO tax on tips, overtime, social security, closing the border and stopping innocent American’s like Laken Rileys from being murdered, lowering inflation to make life affordable for the average American who can no longer afford it, ending the never ending foreign wars, and Making America Healthy Again.  It was MAGA and America First.

So when I am attacking these guys for dying on their own hills where they have built their mini kingdoms, I am doing it for a reason.

Because it is them that is throwing our majority away, and I fought too damn hard to get it to back down.

I sincerely hope the Senate takes out the POISON PILL in the One Big Beautiful Bill that puts a 10 year moratorium on states ability to regulate and make their own laws on AI!

If this dirty trick is not taken out then those who snuck it in will be responsible for failure.
