📢📣Youth activists marched through the nation's capital Friday afternoon demanding President Biden declare a climate emergency.

"Our politicians, including Democrats, do not seem to care about climate change," one protester, Alex, told Fox News. "They only pretend to care about it when it's useful for them winning votes."

The crowd of climate activists gathered outside the White House before marching to the Capitol building. The protest was part of a global climate strike demanding Biden "end all fossil fuel projects," "ensure a just and immediate transition to renewable energies," "hold polluters accountable," and "declare a climate emergency," according to the Action Network's event page.

Another activist said Biden needs to do "everything in his power to secure the Green New Deal."

🏢The Trump Organization came one step closer to officially unloading their famed hotel in the nation’s capital.

The federal government officially gave the green light to sell the Trump Hotel to CGI Merchant Group, a Miami-based investment firm. The hotel is in Washington D.C.’s historic Old Post Office building.

The Trump Organization does not own the building and is instead selling the rights to a long-term lease it has secured for the property from the federal government.

The sale price is expected to be $375 million. The new owners plan to keep the building as a hotel — sans the Trump name — and rebrand the property as a Waldorf Astoria, which is owned by Hilton.

President Biden on Saturday told the president of Poland the U.S. has "thousands of people a day" trying to cross the U.S. southern border just as officials are bracing for a massive migrant surge in the months ahead and are already seeing signs of increased numbers.

He then said the U.S. should "do our part" by "opening our borders" to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees, a move that was announced by the White House on Thursday.

Biden’s statement that border officials are facing thousands of migrants a day is a rare recognition of the massive numbers that the Border Patrol has been dealing with over the last year.

Xavier Pelkey and an unnamed 17-year-old and 15-year-old were plotting an attack through Instagram and other social media apps that was supposed to be carried out during "spring break".

According to the plot, Pelkey was supposed to get firearms and ammunition and he allegedly told one of his accomplices that he had made an explosive device to "get more people."

The FBI seized multiple firearms, including a Remington pump shotgun, swords, knives, a bow and arrows, multiple homemade ISIS flags, and multiple electronic devices from the 15-year-old's home.
