There's nothing unusual in the seven-hour gap in Trump's White House phone logs from 6 January 2021 that the Select Committee has been suspicious about, an official review has shown.

The seven-hour gap with no record of the calls the former president made and who received them was previously discovered by the US House Select Committee investigating the 6 January riot.

📞 Sources tell CNN that Trump made calls through the switchboard when he was in the residence but rarely used it when he was in the Oval Office. So, the seven-hour break appeared due to the use of White House landlines, White House cell phones, and personal cell phones that did not go through the switchboard.

Although the Committee was not able to completely fill in the gaps, they relied on witness testimony, additional documents and phone records obtained by subpoena to begin piecing together who Trump spoke to that day
