⚖️ No charges against Mike Tyson for punching airplane passenger Authorities will not file criminal charges against former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson after he was filmed punching a fellow first-class passenger aboard a plane at San Francisco International Airport last month, prosecutors announced Tuesday. The San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office said it has closed the case and decided against pursuing charges based on “the circumstances surrounding the confrontation.” Representatives for Tyson previously said the boxer was on a flight with “an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat.”

🦠 Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has tested positive for COVID-19 after having been vaccinated and boosted against the virus. According to Gates, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation planned to come together for the first time in two years Tuesday; however, he noted he will be attending virtually.

Gates, 66, first warned about the possibility of a COVID-type outbreak years ago, and he spent much of 2020 speaking to anyone who would listen about the precautions people needed to take to stem the spread of the disease after it arrived in the US early that year. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for COVID-19 initiatives, including vaccine development and distribution.

"Today, Gazprom received an official notification from the Transmission System Operator of Ukraine that the Ukrainian side, citing force majeure circumstances, is terminating reception of gas for transit through the Ukrainian gas measuring station Sokhranovka starting 7:00 [04:00 GMT] on May 11," Gazprom spokesman Sergey Kupriyanov said on Telegram, adding that the operator suggests redirecting transit to the Sudzha station.
