⚖️ Oscar Award-winning actor, Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay nearly $31 million in damages over alleged sexual misconduct behind the scenes of Netflix’s hit political drama, House of Cards. The payment from Spacey will go to the show’s producer, MRC.
An arbitrator in November 2021, after going through 8 days of live testimony and 20 hours of videotaped deposition testimony, ruled in favor of MRC, awarding the company $29.5 million in damages. That award has been upheld by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mel Red Recana with the judge ruling that it was not even close. The award to MRC will also include an extra $1.4 million in attorney fees and costs.

🚙 Volkswagen announced that the 2023 ID.4 electric crossover SUV, which the automaker just started producing at its factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee, will start at the suggested price of $37,495 — making it one of the more affordable crossovers on the market.
Combined with the federal EV tax credit of $7,500 — which may be renewed under the Senate Democrat’s new reconciliation package that’s currently under debate — the ID.4’s price could come down even more.
Originally, the automaker had said it wanted its US-made ID.4s to start at $35,000 — or $27,500 with the federal tax credit. When it was first announced in 2020, VW made a point of emphasizing that the ID.4 was priced to be a high-volume, mass-market vehicle — a car for “the millions, not the millionaires.”

Lady Gaga confirmed her casting in “Joker 2” by posting a musical teaser to social media.
