🇫🇷 🇨🇩 During his African tour, French President Emmanuel Macron started arguing with the DR Congo's President Felix Tshisekedi when the latter recalled France's role in the 1994 genocide.
Tshisekedi inquired about how France was going to help restore security in DR Congo. Instead of a diplomatic response, Macron started railing against his counterpart, right in front of journalists.
🗣 "Since 1994, and it is not France's fault, I'm sorry to say it in such blunt terms, you have not been able to restore the sovereignty, neither military, nor security, nor administrative, of your country. This is also a reality. We must not look for culprits outside this affair," said Macron.

Representatives of more than 100 countries have signed The High Seas Treaty after ten years of negotiations. The agreement was reached on March 3 at the UN Headquarters in New York City. The latest round of negotiations lasted 38 hours.
According to the document, 30% of the world's oceans will now become a protected area by 2030, bringing in serious restrictions on their use, possibly including a complete ban on fishing and exploration activities like deep sea mining.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that media is peddling blatant lies when it claims that his administration authorized sales of weapons to Ukraine on Sunday.
"It is a blatant lie. Serbia did not send weapons to anyone. Serbia makes and sells munitions… We have sold no munitions or other weapons to either Ukraine or Russia," he told reporters in Qatar.

🇭🇺 Supplies of lethal military assistance to Kiev make some EU and NATO nations parties to the Ukraine conflict, even if they are not directly involved in the hostilities, Hungarian Parliamentary Speaker Laszlo Kover said on Sunday.
💬 "NATO and EU members have already sent almost $60 billion worth of lethal military aid to Ukraine, one of the warring parties. It means that separate EU and NATO member states are participants of this war, even though they are not fighting yet," Kover told a Hungarian broadcaster.
📌 Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban cautioned the European Union last month that it could sleepwalk into an armed conflict with Russia by sending increasingly deadly weapons to Ukraine. He argued that a negotiated solution was needed to avoid further casualties.

▪️Archaeologists of the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences participated in an international expedition to Chad, where they excavated two settlements of the ancient Sao civilization.
▪️The scientists conducted an archaeological investigation at the settlements Toukra Dassa 1 and 2, located near the village of Toukra, a southern suburb of N'Djamena.
▪️At the first site, they found ceramic materials, bones of animals and fish, while at the second, at least eleven ceramic vessels.
▪️The Sao civilization was an ancient culture that flourished in Central Africa from the sixth century BC to as late as the sixteenth century AD. It settled along the Chari River in an area which encompasses Chad, Cameroon and Nigeria
