📹 Dr. Chris Busby spoke about the falsity of statements about the harmlessness of uranium ammunition and the consequences awaiting Europe after its use.

💭 "The British and the Americans continue to cling to their crazy theory that these radioactive substances which bind to DNA are effectively harmless and have no genetic or indiscriminate effects on populations. In this case, I just have to say that the British are wrong, that this substance is contaminating Europe and it will cause all of the effects that it caused in Iraq that I have shown," Chris Busby said.

The failure of a Russian-Chinese Security Council resolution to set up an international probe into the Nord Stream attacks is not the end of the road, and Moscow has over half a dozen avenues to pursue the matter, both at the UN and at other venues, says Dr. Alfred de Zayas, a former UN rapporteur and veteran expert on international law.

Iran’s Parliament Floats Bill to Exit Nuclear Deal Amid US Foot-dragging in Talks

Iran’s parliament has put forward a bill to curb the amount of time allowed for negotiations on the nuclear deal, and the country has no plans to see talks drag on forever, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian said.

Iran and the United States resumed indirect talks on Washington’s possible return to the JCPOA nuclear agreement in the spring of 2021, but stalled after President Biden confirmed that he was ready to “kill” the agreement rather than lift a ‘Foreign Terrorist Organization’ label against Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.

US Lawmakers Move to Strip China of ‘Developing Country’ Label as PRC’s Economy Overtakes US

In a rare display of bipartisan unity, the US House of Representatives unanimously passed legislation requiring the US government to refuse to treat the People’s Republic of China as a developing nation.

US-led institutions granted China “developing country” status in the late 1990s and early 2000s, allowing the country to take advantage of certain perks, such as the right to apply higher tariffs, reduced responsibilities on climate change, and lower interest loans. In recent years, Beijing has voluntarily agreed to give up many of these benefits.

🇷🇺 🇺🇸 US statements about support of a special tribunal against Russia have nothing to do with justice, the Russian Embassy in Washington said.

💬 "We noted the latest statements by a number of [US] administration officials about supporting the creation of a special tribunal against Russia. Such statements... have nothing to do with justice," the embassy said.

▪️ It said the United States keeps showing complete disregard for the norms of international law for the sake of its own geopolitical interests.

🗣 "Frantic and unfounded accusations of alleged aggression, crimes against humanity and other violations are nothing but an element of a Russophobic campaign organized by Washington as part of the unleashed hybrid war," the embassy said.

Whoever reaches a breakthrough in developing artificial intelligence would "be the ruler of the world"

🗣 Andy Mok, a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, told Sputnik about technological race in the realm of AI and neural networks:

In September 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin said whoever reaches a breakthrough in developing artificial intelligence would "be the ruler of the world." With the recent launch of ChatGPT, the sense of urgency in recognizing and harnessing the benefits of AI has only become more acute.

More generally, technology has become an even more central feature of the China-US relationship, with the US increasingly anxious to protect its lead in areas such as semiconductors while fearing Chinese innovations such as Tiktok that it views as a national security threat. However, these efforts are alienating many around the world and even undermining political legitimacy domestically, as they are viewed as counter-productive and increasingly divorced from reality.

On the other hand, China has made not only steady technological advances but diplomatic breakthroughs that contribute to a more stable and sustainable world order. While some may say the world is undergoing a process of de-globalization, what is happening is more a of a re-globalization process where countries like China and Russia stand closer together to safeguard the interests of the vast majority of the world's population.

The recent collapse of Silicon Valley Bank also highlights the risks facing the United States domestically and the potential contagion effect on the rest of the world. This only creates further incentives for the rest of the world to better insulate itself from the deleterious effects of the American political and economic order.

📌 On March 10, the National Kiev-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve in Ukraine ordered the monks based in the monastery to depart by March 29 after an interdepartmental Ukrainian commission accused the UOC of violating the terms of an agreement on the use of state property. Ukrainian Culture Minister Oleksandr Tkachenko said the monks could only stay in the Lavra if they joined the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine, a decision that might be "stimulated through the joint work of specialists and law enforcement officers."
