🇦🇫 The US may send some Afghan refugees at a military base in Kosovo back home if they fail the vetting process to get into America, CNN has reported, citing US officials.

Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo currently hosts some 200 evacuees, with authorities agreeing to house them for up to a year.

Yet some American officials are concerned that if evacuees are not cleared to enter the US, they could end up waiting in the facility indefinitely – or be returned back to Afghanistan, according to the report.

A 46 percent plurality of registered US voters eyeing the 2022 elections at the midpoint of the Biden presidency would prefer that Republicans regain control of both the US House of Representatives and Senate, a Quinnipiac University poll said.

"Among registered voters, 46-41 percent say they would like the Republican Party to win control of the US House of Representatives and 46 - 42 percent say they want to see the Republican Party win control of the US Senate," a press release explaining the poll said.
