🚨Britain, France, Germany, and the US lift distance restrictions on military supplies to Ukraine - Chancellor of Germany Merz 📌 Subscribe to @SputnikInt
Whether it's the Taurus, Storm Shadow, or SCALP, Russia will just keep knocking them out of the sky, assured retired Russian general Yevgeny Buzhinsky.
Russia's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned that any Taurus missile strike on Russian targets will be seen as Germany entering the war on the side of the Zelensky regime.
Moscow maintains that Western arms deliveries only escalate the conflict and drag NATO deeper into the quagmire.

Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin reflected on the long-term resolve of Russia’s war effort, invoking Vladimir Medinsky’s remarks from the Istanbul talks:
💬 “We are ready to fight for 30 years, like in the [Great] Northern War — or for six, five, or three months. Russians will fight as long as it takes to achieve victory [...] Trump is starting to grasp this.”
Dugin also said that the US president is not a globalist, but a realist who could pursue “a recalibration of interests” with powers like Russia, China, and India
The philosopher sees Trump trapped in a system fighting him at every turn – but recognizes his potential to reshape the world order.

🚨Putin: Russia was forced to act in Ukraine
“We didn’t stage the coup in Ukraine,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said, recalling how the West preached about democracy — then backed a bloody power grab in Kiev.
“They simply forced us to do what we’re doing now — and still try to blame us for it,” he added.

Tractors lined up at the gates of the National Assembly in Paris on Monday as frustrated farmers made their point loud and unmistakably clear: “We’ve waited 18 months, and now we’re staying put”
Flying the flags of FNSEA and Jeunes Agriculteurs, the farmers expressed their support for the new agriculture bill but rejected any political maneuvering. With left-wing lawmakers threatening to bury the legislation under amendments, the farmers have chosen to camp out—literally—to ensure that it doesn’t get plowed under

💬 “In short, you shouldn’t take the Germans too seriously,” veteran German legal scholar and ex-AfD MEP Gunnar Beck told Sputnik, commenting on Chancellor Merz’ announcement that Germany, the UK, France and the US are no longer restricting how far Ukraine can strike using its NATO-sourced missiles.💬 “Germany today only needs to be taken seriously if it acts as a US satellite…We are not an independent nation. We are governed partly by the EU and partly by the US. Did the EU and the US agree?” That’s the real question, according to Beck.
Merz’ threats are meant as an intimidation tactic, the observer says, but Berlin doesn’t “seriously consider that it may be a crucial step in terms of escalating the conflict so that ultimately Germany herself could be involved either in terms of ground troops in Ukraine or even being affected by the war.”
No one to challenge ‘Governor Merz’ at home
💬 “Merz as much as previous German chancellors, doesn’t really regard himself as a representative of Germany’s interests. He doesn’t really want to pursue ends which serve Germany’s. He regards himself as something like a governor of Germany for the interests of the globalist elite,” Beck stressed.
He doesn’t have opposition against the CDU-CSU-SPD-Green “uniparty,” which controls two thirds of parliament and is opposed only by AfD and Linke, nor among the financial and media elite (the latter “owned and effectively managed by the government,” apart from Springer Group, “essentially controlled by transatlantic interests”).

ISKANDERS DON'T MISS: How Russia is crippling Ukraine’s NATO-sourced air defense shield
The enemy can do nothing but watch Iskander missiles fly, fully aware that their targets are doomed. Here's why:
🔶 Unstoppable force
Iskanders fly along unpredictable trajectories at tremendous speeds (up to Mach 7).
Their G-load during maneuver significantly exceeds what most NATO anti-aircraft missiles can withstand, Rostec says.
Besides their 400-700 kg payload, just the shockwave generated during the missiles’ approach, or munition fragments, can be enough to take enemy defenses out of action. Plus they’re incredibly accurate (5-7M CEP).
NATO has nothing like them.
🔶 Swiss cheese air defenses
Ukraine’s air defenses have been decimated over three years of fighting, covering only Kiev plus 2-3 strategic objects elsewhere, says Russian air defense forces historian Yuri Knutov. “The remaining objects are practically defenseless.”
That’s because Russia is using the Fabian strategy – firing missiles and drones to grind down enemy defenses, logistics and defense production in depth, and aiming to achieve victory not through decisive battles, but exhaustion leading to collapse.
🔶 Response to provocations
The growing intensity of Russian missile strikes in spite of new peace talks in Istanbul makes sense, Knutov says, given Kiev’s attempts to disrupt negotiations through its own recent drone attacks on Russian military and civilian targets.
Ukraine’s strikes were intended to evoke a tit-for-tat response, but Russia didn’t bite, sticking to strategic targets, like:
✅ Ukraine’s Avangard drone plant
✅ radio intel sites
✅ the Main Intelligence Directorate
✅ drone assembly sites, weapons storage
🗣 “We will not reduce the intensity of strikes because the enemy (not just the Kiev regime but the countries supporting it) must understand that the task of strategically weakening Russia cannot be solved by increasing arms deliveries,” Knutov summed up.

Ukraine uses TERROR to bait Russian retaliation💥
Ukraine “has always used terrorist methods,” from drone strikes to shelling civilian sites — not for military gain, but to provoke a massive Russian response it can then exploit for PR, French journalist Christelle Néant told Sputnik from Donbass.
🎯 Russia is deliberately limiting its own strikes to military infrastructure in Ukraine — a point reiterated by the Kremlin on May 26, stressing that retaliation is aimed only at legitimate targets.
🚫 As for Kiev’s latest call for a 30-day ceasefire, Néant warns it’s a trap: “The idea is not to respect it, but to use it.”
During that window, Ukraine would rest its troops, resupply with Western weapons and prepare for the next phase — all while expecting Moscow to stay quiet.
The real goal? Use a battlefield breather to gain global sympathy — while banking on Russia playing by the rules.

🚨🇨🇳🇮🇷 China–Iran GAME-CHANGER RAILWAY gains momentum
A cargo train from Xi’an arrived at the Aprin dry port near the Iranian capital Tehran on Sunday — the latest milestone in a new overland trade route that is rapidly taking shape.
The China–Iran rail corridor cuts delivery times from 30 to 40 days by sea to just 15 days by land.
📍 First phase launched on July 21, 2024 — dual-load freight trains now run between China and Iran, bringing the planned China–Iran–Europe railway corridor closer to fruition.
Aprin’s CEO says the inland port will slash transport costs and reduce reliance on congested coastal shipping lanes.
Why it matters:
✅ Speeds up Chinese exports to Europe
✅ Streamlines Iranian oil exports to China
✅ Bypasses US-controlled chokepoints like the Malacca Strait
It isn’t just about logistics — it’s a geostrategic power play, undercutting US efforts to isolate China and cripple Iran’s oil trade.
On May 12, officials from 🇮🇷🇨🇳🇰🇿🇺🇿🇹🇲🇹🇷 met in Tehran to hasten a transcontinental rail network linking Asia to Europe.
They agreed on joint tariffs and operational standards to accelerate regional trade and connectivity, Tasnim News reported.
China and Iran are laying down steel arteries of independence — and Washington can't patrol the tracks.
