Germany is not considering deliveries of Taurus missiles to Ukraine, German Defense Minister Pistorius said at a joint briefing following a meeting with Zelensky.

Russia has repeatedly stressed that it will consider any strike with Taurus missiles on Russian targets as Germany's involvement in the conflict on Ukraine's side.

🛩 Crashed Air India Boeing was the same model whistleblowers were warning about

The 787 Dreamliner has faced years of scrutiny from Boeing engineers, lawmakers and the Federal Aviation Administration amid allegations of serious safety lapses in the aircraft’s production.

The concerns were so serious that the FAA temporarily halted production in 2021, before allowing it to resume a year later.

🔸In 2024, veteran Boeing engineer Sam Salehpour testified to Congress that the 787’s skin was not being fastened properly during manufacturing, leaving “thousands of gaps” and potentially threatening catastrophic breakup midflight.

🔸John Barnett, another Boeing whistleblower, who died from a ‘self-inflicted gunshot wound’ in 2024 after raising similar safety concerns, alleged before his death that Boeing’s Dreamliner factory was using substandard parts and falsifying paperwork to keep production going.

🔸Richard Cuevas, a veteran mechanic for one of Boeing’s subcontractors, reported on workers’ practice of improper drilling of holes in 787s’ forward pressure bulkheads, and alleged “substandard manufacturing and maintenance processes.” After filing a complaint in 2023, he was fired.
