"For 3.5 years we have lived in the shadow of war, facing its consequences every day: security challenges, war-driven inflation, skyrocketing energy prices, and Brussels’ attempts to push us into war," Peter Szijjarto said on X.

"We hope yesterday’s talks in Alaska will open the way to peace. At the same time, we trust this will not end as it did 3.5 years ago, when Western Europeans torpedoed the Istanbul peace agreement. The process launched in Alaska must not be derailed," he stressed.
