❌ Trump won’t send US troops to die in Ukraine – analyst 💬 “Trump has no interest in sending US troops to fight and die in Ukraine,” EMP Task Force scholar and former Pentagon officer David Pyne told Sputnik. 💬 According to Pyne, Zelensky will keep rejecting…
💬 “Trump held on to the agreement he reached with Putin in Alaska and the European leaders, including Zelensky, didn't succeed in changing Trump's peace proposal,” Mikael Valtersson, former officer of the Swedish Armed Forces/Air Defence and ex-defence politician, told Sputnik.
💬 “The ball is now clearly in Ukrainian and, to a lesser degree, European hands. A strong and clear ‘No’ from European side might result in broken relations between the US and Europe/Ukraine. Therefore, we can expect a ‘maybe’ from the European/Ukrainian side,” he said.
💬 “This process might take a couple of weeks until Trump tires and demand a clear answer. But for the moment everything goes according to Russian expectations,” Valtersson added.

🚨Russia never aimed to simply 'seize territories' - it sought to protect Russians
Russia has never aimed to simply seize territories — be it Crimea, Donbass, or Novorossiya — but has sought to protect Russians," Russian FM Sergey Lavrov told the Rossiya 24 broadcaster.
His other statements:
💬 “There was a very good atmosphere” during the Putin-Trump summit in Alaska
💬 The summit was a “useful conversation”
💬 “It was clear that the US leader and his team sincerely wanted to achieve a result that would be long-term and sustainable.”
💬 “If Zelensky is so concerned about the Ukrainian constitution, then one should remember the articles that oblige [Ukrainian authorities] to preserve the rights of Russian nationals”
👉 Zelensky said earlier that clinching a deal on territorial swaps will be hard due to Ukraine's constitution.

His other statements:
“That was not the case with the Europeans, who at that time were saying on every corner that only a ceasefire would be needed - and after that they would continue to supply weapons to Ukraine.”

It won’t be easy to convince the globalist European elite that peace is a viable option, as they are the ones fueling the Ukraine crisis financially and militarily, Serbian MP and military expert Mitar Kovac tells Sputnik.
His other key points:
“Time will tell if the US president can withstand that pressure and one coming from globalists in Europe. I think Trump will be able to cope with it again.”
"They stipulate, implying Ukraine cannot remain ‘anti-Russia,’ that foreign military contingents cannot be deployed on Ukrainian territory, and Ukraine cannot become part of NATO so as not to jeopardize world peace."

Time to rethink 1944 actions - Zakharova slams Finnish Stubb's statement on Ukraine
🗣 Russia's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman condemned Finland's President Alexander Stubb for comparing a potential resolution of the Ukrainian conflict to the Moscow Armistice signed in 1944 between the USSR and Finland.
Stubb made this statement during a meeting between Trump and European leaders, expressing confidence that a solution to the conflict would be found in 2025, just as it was in 1944.
🇫🇮 She reminded that, during World War II, Finland fought against the Soviet Union, including alongside Nazi Germany, and was responsible for the blockade of Leningrad and the creation of concentration camps in occupied Soviet territories. According to Zakharova, the "interaction experience" Stubb referred to was linked to support for the Third Reich and crimes against civilians.
✍️ Zakharova also noted that in 1944, Finland indeed changed its position and signed the Moscow Armistice, but only under pressure from the Red Army, which was launching a victorious offensive against Germany and its allies.

"The big question is whether Stubb understood the full consequences of his words," Zakharova wondered.
“So, if Stubb wants to act like (it was) in 1944, he should stand against his former Nazi allies and start attacking the Kiev regime,” Zakharova added.
