Steve Jobs on his iconic 2005 Stanford commencement address,  shared three personal stories that encapsulated his life philosophy.
* Connecting the dots: Jobs reflects on his experience dropping out of college and how the seemingly unconnected dots of his life eventually came together. This emphasizes the importance of trusting your journey and having faith that the experiences you have will shape your future.
* Love and loss: Jobs talks about his passion for Apple and the difficult experience of being fired from the company he co-founded. This highlights the importance of following your passion but also being prepared for setbacks.
* Death is life's change agent: Jobs delivers a reality check, reminding graduates of their mortality. This encourages them to live life to the fullest and not waste time on things that don't truly matter.

Personal Opinion:

Before the AI era, the best advice was to have a deep understanding of one specific technology or ecosystem. However, in the current AI era, having surface-level knowledge across various fields is more advantageous than specializing deeply in one area.
