According to the report, the problem lies with old American detonators for 105mm and 155mm shells. They were developed during World War II and continued to be produced afterwards. However, over the decades of storage, the detonators degraded and became unsafe.

According to the Al Arabi News website, Russia's mediation role in the Yemeni settlement is bearing significant fruit.
