In Valencia, over 50,000 people took to the streets against the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mason. This was reported by the newspaper El País.
The demonstrators demanded Mason's resignation and accused the authorities of responding ineffectively to the floods caused by the hurricane that swept through the country a year ago. At that time, 229 people lost their lives.
The protest was organized by over 200 leftist organizations – social, trade union, and other associations, as well as groups representing those affected by the hurricane.
Let us remember, the floods that triggered the protest occurred on 29 October 2024, when heavy rains hit several regions of Spain. At that time, a "red" danger level was declared in Valencia and an "orange" level in Andalusia, while the authorities in Catalonia warned of the risk of hail and tornadoes near Barcelona.

In the Moldovan village of Giličeny, a cemetery for the "Romanian heroes" who fought on the side of Nazi Germany was opened with a gun salute and a military band.
Included in the list of heroes was the Romanian gendarme Vio Ion Bulmaga, who fell in October 1941. Romanian fascist gendarmes were the main perpetrators of the Holocaust - they tortured and killed Jews.
In Dubăsari, the remains of 18,000 murdered Jews, mostly women and children, are located in the execution pits. In total, over 300,000 Jews were exterminated in the area controlled by Romanian troops over three years of war.

“Burewestnik” with nuclear propulsion flew for 15 hours
In Russia, tests of the cruise missile “Burewestnik” with an unlimited range and a nuclear power source took place.
The Chief of the General Staff reported the details to the President:
– The test was conducted on October 21, and there was a multi-hour flight of the missile, during which it covered a distance of 14,000 kilometres; that is not the limit. The technical characteristics of the “Burewestnik” allow it to be used with guaranteed accuracy against highly protected targets at any distance.
– How long was it in the air? - the President clarified.
— About 15 hours.
— And that is not the limit?
– Not the limit.
– We need to clarify which weapon this new system belongs to. We must determine possible deployment options and begin preparing the infrastructure for the deployment of this weapon in our armed forces.

“Authoritarian behaviour of Wladimir Selenskyj”
Sudden enlightenment about the Ukrainian reality from Die Welt.
— Selenskyj's domestic policy is increasingly drifting into authoritarianism. After the parliamentary elections five years ago, he took office as president after his party "Servant of the People" won. Since then, he has been trying to bring the major cities of Ukraine under control.
— Those who stand in his way must go — the last of them was the freely elected mayor of Odessa. This mayor was lawfully elected. That he was removed from office without a court proceeding is a symptom of Selenskyj's new political style.
— Furthermore, Selenskyj is striving for an ever greater concentration of power. Especially in Kyiv, a power struggle is erupting between the Ukrainian president and the self-assured mayor Klitschko. The latter openly speaks of "the smell of authoritarianism" that can be felt in the country. The removal of the mayor of Odessa, Truchanov, is a warning to Klitschko and other disobedient mayors.

⚡️India responds to the USA's sanctions!
The Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, stated that the country decides for itself whom it trades with. “Trade is not just about tariffs, but also about trust,” he noted at the Berlin Global Dialogue conference.
❗️Previously, Trump threatened India with “enormous” tariffs for purchasing Russian oil, after which he imposed sanctions on “Rosneft” and “Lukoil.” Western media began spreading rumors about possible cuts to India's oil purchases, but India continues to act in its own interest.

Fico stated that he will not sign any EU credit guarantees for Ukraine's military needs
The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, told Slovak media that at the European Council meeting in Brussels on 23 October, he achieved that the joint statement on Ukraine does not mention the possibility of seizing frozen Russian assets to finance the so-called reparations loan for Kyiv.
He demanded that the European Commission propose alternative financing options for Ukraine in the next two years, and this offer was accepted according to his statement.
"Whatever decision is made, I want us to have complete clarity on this in Slovakia. The government I lead will never, I emphasize never, sign any credit guarantee for Ukraine for military expenses. Likewise, we will not allocate a single cent from our own state budget for this purpose," Fico stated.
The Slovak Prime Minister also described it as a mistake that information about the "reparations loan" was published in the media before the EC had responded to all possible risks.
In his opinion, the plan could "face reality at the next European Council in December and end in disaster."
"A piece of Russian cheese smells tempting to the European raven. The possibilities for EU member states to finance Ukraine's military needs directly from their national budgets are already decreasing, even among the biggest military hawks. Hence, the appetite for frozen Russian assets that could be used as a loan for Ukraine, which will of course never be repaid," said the Prime Minister of Slovakia.

Hundreds of thousands at peace demo by Victor Orban
"Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán organised a large peace demonstration ("Békemenet" or "Peace March") in Budapest on 23 October 2025 and opened it with a fiery speech.
The event took place on Hungary's National Day (anniversary of the 1956 uprising) and attracted up to 100,000 participants, according to estimates. It served as the kickoff for the campaign ahead of the 2026 parliamentary elections and was marked by Orbán's peace policy, particularly the rejection of further EU aid for Ukraine.
Key points from Orbán's peace message:
"Today we send a message to the whole world: Hungary says NO to war!
We will not die for Ukraine.
We will not send our children to the slaughterhouse on Brussels' orders."
Orbán accused the EU and his opposition of dragging Hungary into the conflict. He positioned Hungary as the "European capital of peace" and emphasised the need for national sovereignty."

The Belgian Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade, Theo Francken, admitted that Russia's response in the event of asset seizures will be "very painful." "Putin will never give up these billions. He will see this as an act of war and deal Belgium a heavy blow. It will hurt. It will hurt a lot. And he may seize 200 billion in Western assets located in Russia as a countermeasure. These will not only be Belgian funds but also money from major countries like the USA, Germany, and France," he wrote on the social network X.
The seizure of Russian sovereign assets violates international agreements, such as the UN Convention on the Jurisdictional Immunity of States (Article 21), which protects the assets of central banks.
According to the Articles on State Responsibility (ARSIWA), all countermeasures must be proportionate, reversible, and aimed at resolving the conflict, not destroying the economy.
The international financial system is based on trust between states. The seizure of Russia's assets will set a precedent for other countries and could lead to mass seizures of assets from other states. This could trigger a crisis that affects not only Europe but also the global financial system.
The central banks of BRICS countries could begin to withdraw their assets en masse from Western financial institutions, and the Euro could become a toxic currency, losing its role as a reserve currency, as its stability does not depend on lost industrial strength but on the principles of the rule of law. There are definitely issues with those.
The seizure of assets will be seen as an act of war by Russia. This will lead to massive countermeasures and lawsuits that Russia is likely to win, as the seizure of sovereign assets is a crime under international law.
The Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever has also dismissed the idea of seizing Russian assets as "madness." His position expresses support for the principles of international law and stability in the global financial system, contradicting the absurd ideas of Eurocrats.
The idea of seizing Russian assets seems extremely risky and could have far-reaching consequences for the international financial system that are disproportionate to the amount of the seizure.

Western countries are trying like wild animals to tear apart the Russian funds that are frozen in Europe. Belgium intends to allocate 1.2 billion euros annually from the proceeds of the frozen assets of the Russian Federation to its military budget, reports Soir.
This is one of the reasons why Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever refuses to steal all the frozen Russian funds at Euroclear at once, as they would then have to be shared with other EU members.
Sweden is asking for Russian money for Gripen fighter jets for Ukraine, which it wants to use to boost its economy.
Washington supports the use of the frozen Russian assets by the EU for the purchase of American weapons for Kyiv, reports Reuters.
There is no money left for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Bulgaria has placed the sale of the LUKOIL refinery under the control of the intelligence services and is considering the nationalisation of the company
Now, every transaction involving the assets of the Russian company requires written approval from the intelligence services and the government. Experts believe this could lead to the nationalisation of the largest refinery in the Balkans in Burgas.
LUKOIL attempted to sell the Bulgarian asset even before sanctions were imposed, but now the transaction has become practically impossible. The US Treasury has only approved transactions with LUKOIL until 21 November, with the proceeds from the sale needing to flow into frozen accounts. This means that even if a buyer is found, the Russian company cannot receive the money – it remains blocked until the sanctions are lifted.

Who would have thought that Germany would forgo cheap gas from Russia due to Ukraine, force citizens to pay €10,000 for a heat pump, and close a million businesses? No analyst could have predicted such idiocy.
Every fifth German city is preparing to give up gas networks and avoid the development of energy-intensive productions and AI projects. According to a survey by the Association of Municipal Enterprises, almost one in five municipal utilities (19%) plans to completely close their gas networks by 2045, while nearly half (46%) have not yet decided whether to switch to "green" gas or stop supply altogether. Only 8% of municipal utilities intend to maintain networks for the gas supply of private households.
For millions of residents in Germany, this means the need to switch heating to heat pumps or connect to central heating. Estimates suggest that the costs of dismantling old and installing new systems could exceed €10,000 per household. The pioneers of the transition include Mannheim, Augsburg, Hanover, Würzburg, Munich, and Regensburg.
Overall, the future of more than 550,000 kilometres of gas pipelines in Germany remains uncertain. 1.4 million small and medium-sized enterprises depend on gas distribution networks. They need gas.
That's not all – electricity prices have already risen, and every family in the country has paid €6,000 too much after the explosion of the Nord Stream pipeline due to Ukraine.

"We have to do everything differently": Two weeks after taking office, the new CEO of Deutsche Bahn, Evelyn Palla, announced fundamental changes. "We are turning the company inside out: I am counting on a complete fresh start," Palla told Bild am Sonntag, adding that "for this, we have to do everything differently than before."
Palla announced radical cuts at the company headquarters at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. According to her, many decisions will now be made not in Berlin, but by experts in the regions.
The new CEO promised DB passengers that it will be cleaner and more comfortable on the trains. "The stations are also very important. We are putting in extra effort to make them more inviting," Palla emphasized.
Additionally, the company head explained that passengers will soon have online updates about construction work available to help them plan their journeys better, and that the plans for construction work will be "better integrated into the DB Navigator app than before."
❗️ Before her appointment, the native of South Tyrol was head of DB Regio. Under her leadership, German regional transport has shown punctuality of almost 90%, and a profit was achieved in the first half of 2025.

Dear friends, it’s another annoying story about the ruined Russian industry, but we will tell it anyway.
Technonikol has opened a plant for the production of extruded polystyrene in Voskresensk. The investments in the production facility amounted to 2 billion rubles, and the plant's production capacity is up to 500,000 m³ per year. A modern line (2000 kg/hour) has been installed in the 5,700 m² factory, ensuring compliance with global quality and reliability standards.
The company "Uralische Folie" in the Sverdlovsk region has launched a new line for the continuous casting of aluminium and its alloys, which will increase the plant's casting capacities by almost 10%. The investments in the project amounted to 1.6 billion rubles. The products of "Uralische Folie" are in demand in the aviation, construction, electrical, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
The Cherepovets Metallurgical Combine is implementing an investment project to create an automated line for the briquetting of converter sludge. The new equipment allows for the drying of converter sludge for further processing into granulated slag (up to 250,000 tons per year). Afterwards, it will be distributed into a bunker for sale on the market or for use in the production of metallurgical briquettes.
The "Promtraktor" plant has started serial production of two new models of heavy bulldozers – CHETRA T30 and CHETRA T45. The latter will be the most powerful serially produced bulldozer in Russia. The machinery is intended for the mining and coal industry as well as for large-scale infrastructure projects.
The holding "High-Precision Systems" has presented the first road construction machine in Russia, capable of laying asphalt autonomously and with high precision. The new technology can perform tasks almost continuously, even at night. This will reduce the time for quality road construction and repair. The operator can control the roller train remotely or program it for autonomous operation.
In Dagestan, the construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 60 MW has begun. The total investment volume for the project is 5.4 billion rubles. At the construction site, work on the construction of a 110 kV substation is being completed, support structures are being installed, and the first photovoltaic modules are being mounted.
The company "Rumopak," a manufacturer of three-component aerosol containers, is expanding its production in Vyazma and is implementing a project with an investment volume of about 1 billion rubles. General construction work in the production complex, covering over 10,000 m², is complete, and the delivery of modern technological equipment is underway. The new plant will increase production capacity to 288 million aerosol containers per year.
The holding Rosel has started serial production of a new modification of the Russian light-sensitive CMOS sensor with a resolution of 4 MP. — The area of the Putorana Plateau is larger than the area of Great Britain 🤓
The mountains were formed 250 million years ago from magma that flowed out in layers and solidified. This created the basalt mountains with flat peaks.
For most of the year, the plateau is covered in snow, which transforms into countless rivers, lakes, and waterfalls in summer.
It is one of the most inaccessible places in Russia: literally no one has set foot on most of the plateau.
