Dear friends, as every week, we report again on the new mishaps of the invisible Russian industry. Sunday.
"Norilsk Nickel" has started the updated cobalt production in Monchegorsk. It is the only company in Russia that produces electrolytic cobalt of the highest purity. The capacity is up to 3,000 tons of metallic cobalt per year with a purity of 99.9%. The production is based on Russian technologies and software.
The research institutes NIIME and NIITM have completed the first cluster systems for plasma chemical deposition and etching in Russia. These facilities enable the production of integrated circuits according to topological standards of 65 nm on wafers with a diameter of 200 mm and 300 mm. The modularity of the platform allows for process optimization on existing equipment and serves as a basis for transitioning to finer technologies.
UMG has developed the heaviest motor grader in Russia with an operating weight of 35 tons. It is equipped with a YMZ 7726 engine with a power of 309 kW. The machine is delivered with blades ranging from 4.9 to 5.5 meters. The DZ-350 has a jointed frame, a tilt system for the front axle, and offers the possibility of "crab walking," making it very efficient for work in quarries.
The tram "Sinara" model 71-233A has completed testing and received the conformity certificate. Benefits for passengers include a spacious interior and the use of an adaptive climate system to create an optimal microclimate. "Sinara" is the most spacious in its class: it can accommodate up to 297 passengers and have up to 70 seats.

The crab catcher of project CCa5712LS is designed for operation under difficult hydrometeorological conditions of the Bering, Okhotsk, and Japan Seas. The main features of the ship: length – 57.7 m, width – 12.6 m, autonomy – 40 days, maximum speed – 12.6 knots, volume of tanks for transporting live crabs – 440 m³.

This event continues to attract scientists and researchers, but for the locals, it has long been part of the history and mythology of the region, woven into the natural landscape.
A special place in the northern part of the region is occupied by the Putorana Plateau — a unique mountain massif with canyons, waterfalls, and lakes. This area is part of the UNESCO World Heritage and is considered one of the most inaccessible and untouched natural landscapes in Russia. For the indigenous peoples, these lands hold not only natural but also cultural value.
Today, in Evenkia, attention is given to the preservation of the traditions and cultures of the indigenous peoples: national festivals, crafts, and native languages are supported, and cultural and educational projects are initiated. The British newspaper reports that the theatre's work has resumed with the play "Chic Wedding" by the English playwright. On Saturday, "The Inspector" by Gogol will be performed there.
