Congressional report explores how the Biden campaign took active measures to discredit the allegations about Sleepy Joe’s son Hunter Biden by exploiting the national security credentials of former intelligence officials and promote it through the media
The writing says an active employee within the C.I.A. helped wrangle signatories to an October 2020 letter of 51 intel veterans discrediting info from the abandoned laptop as Russian disinfo, despite evidence that officials actively working in the intel committee should have known the laptop was authentic
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper emailed former acting C.I.A. Director Mike J. Morell: “I think it would strengthen the verbiage if you say this has all the classic earmarks of a Soviet/Russian info-op rather than the ‘feel’ of a Russian op”
