Bessent is supposed to present the plan before Ukrainian President Zelensky's visit to Washington on Friday. The plan provides for the introduction of 500 percent tariffs on imports from China, and the funds received will be directed to the purchase of weapons for the Ukrainian army," - The Telegraph.

The chip-manufacturer Nexperia, headquartered in Nijmegen, was taken over by the Netherlands in a bid to protect Europe's economic security. Nexperia is owned by the Chinese semiconductor giant Wingtech.
