After securing the al-Mahrah and Hadhramaut regions, the attention of the Southern Transitional Council will now likely turn to the Marib Governorate, which is mostly under Saudi-control. The region has vast oil fields, but more importantly, it borders Ansarullah-controlled Yemeni territory.
