Ancap and other extreme forms of libertarianism are the dumbest ideologies. Communism is worse only because it is persuasive. If ancap were persuasive, it would be worse. These two ideologies are remarkably similar despite being on supposedly opposite sides.…

We used to kill dragons
no myth or legend,
we killed demons
or they killed us.

Now we've forgotten
a forsaken imperative
the demons became dust,
our will became lust
for comfort and triviality,
we hide in our illusion
of normalcy, security
sucking from a dying thing,
decaying prosperity
propensity to bring
an end to ideality
an end to everything.

I had a dream
of a world where angels sing
in rhymes beyond understanding
a language of perfect meaning
a song beyond hearing
making stones weep
calling the brave
if their souls do keep
calling the good
to kill dragons
and fight demons
as a reflection
of what is human
of what is man.

The enemy never died
they only changed
we've forgotten
the pain
we've become
so insane
in our delusion
of unity
and our fantasy
of equality
we allowed
suffering
to obscure
reality.

Freedom isn't real. Just a spook.

If you were free you wouldn't die.

What people are actually talking about when they say "freedom" is an absence of responsibility to others. A departure or separation from the group.

The issue is that in absence of the group you are then confronted by nature in absence of what the group creates.

The group creates a partial departure from nature, this insulates you from the dominance of what is natural.

Being human is all about insulating ourselves from that ultimate authority of nature. It is the most meaningful distinction between us and other animals. A group is required for higher levels of separation.

So either you are responsible to the group or you are a slave to whatever condition nature brings you, defied only by your personal means.

I think this is really the distinction between freedom and liberty. To be "free" means very little, but liberty is something enforced.

Like a bubble where one can be aloof, detached from nature by society, granted the option to disregard the needs of the group by the law, even while existing within it.

As a principle, it falls short of ethical. The group is required for survival; all individuals come from it. Those who wish for liberty as an ideal confuse it with a nebulous "freedom" and ignore that it requires enforcement.

Ultimately, some level of "liberty" should be granted by a healthy society, but the focus on it as a foundational ideal requires a detachment of the individual as being responsible to the group.

It is a call for the enforcement of what is individual over the needs of the collective in ignorance of the insulation that collective provides from nature. This is self-consuming.

Liberty is an ennoscriptment that can only exist with the enforcement of a group. If the question is liberty or the survival of the group, then the group will always take precedence over that ennoscriptment.

Thus, liberty can only exist so far as it is not destructive to the collective. Anything else will result in systemic death.

Civilization is necessarily balanced on the edge of a knife. Any ideology that would tell you otherwise will only destroy you.

Truth is a structural quality.
Whatever is most true is superior.
A hidden structure
forsaken forever
just clusters of cells
humans and monsters
bleeding eyes
painting visions
of burning skies,
freedom from
systemic lies.

We spiral, laughing
something dying
a new beginning
an ending to order,
it was burned alive
in a dark fire,
wounds rotting,
flesh corrupting,
dark hands
silently salting
the burned earth
before seizing
and trembling,
an ending
we are seeking
redemption
in nothing.

AI is totally inevitable. Being "against AI" is like being against any other technological revolution; it's a futile position that amounts only to prolonged whining. You cannot stop it, we will use our new tools, we will adapt like always. This is part of the human experience.

The people who act as though AI can somehow be stopped are delusional, and their energy is misplaced. As usual, the question is actually about control. There is no going back, there is only forward. Instead of worrying about AI existing, accept that it exists and cope.

Stopping AI is like stopping electricity, it's like stopping the agricultural revolution, it's like stopping the cell phone or personal computer or the internet.

You want to unmake the wheel and that's just not how human nature works.

all rulership is the will of the people
A purple static precedes chaos,
it reminds you of what's lost.

like pictures shredded in the wind,
sunset and shadow, eternal sin.

I have a memory in my head
of when beauty did transcend,
a vision long dead,
yet it still lives deep within
and I dream it in reverence
of something impermanent,
of something defiant
of something that raged
against the cold and infinite.

All I am is words
screamed into the dark—
a fire unbeknownst
to anything higher.

Fueled by rage and desire,
all I am is the universe bleeding,
experiencing pain and love and fury;
may I pull the sky down around me.

I search for meaning
in the mediocre; the shadow
of a colossus dying.

I live in the decaying memory
of a thing ending,
searching for anything.

Always confronted
by a broken ritual,
those worshipers of death,
reveling— twisted faces smiling
as all they love lay burning
in sacrificial offering.

And so we tell a lie of compassion,
we lie to try and save our souls
from the truth of our own actions,
we are but monsters playing our roles.

Acting out in emulation,
imitation of something old.

Shadow figures in the ruins
of a civilization grown cold.

Almost everyone wants genocide. Some people just lie to themselves.

Leftists will whine about Israel bombing Palestine and then turn around and advocate for abortion.

I think every day about how a third of all zoomers were culled.

The average Palestinian would consider 60 million abortions to be tantamount to genocide.

Nobody even talks about what America did in the middle east anymore. Death toll estimates under Bush and Obama are now around 4.5 million.

Almost nobody called that a genocide. People have short memories.

You can divide the people who actually care about human life from those who don't by noticing the discrepancies in these positions.

Assuming we want to build something like "rights" in the future, they should be universal. A big part of the problem with "rights" as they are is that they act as special privileges for particular classes.

You get "civil rights" for minorities and invaders, granting them special access to white people.

You get "women's rights" for privileges that only women can have.

You get "trans and gay rights" to protect the sexual deviance of fetish obsessed individuals.

This is something that can only be prevented by outlawing it as a concept from the beginning. "rights" are either totally universal or they're already corrupt.

The idea of a system similar to "rights" existing under this principle is reasonable. However, it needs to be written in immutable law both that "rights" cannot be individual, and that mass immigration cannot happen in order for this idea to function.

In a moment, frozen
wishing for time to stop

souls broken by causality
and envy of the immortal

dreams in turmoil
brought into the light

into perfect order
into god's sight

waking fever, entropy,
everything broken perpetually

little pieces decaying, inevitably,
our dna unraveling infinitely

we are infinity in decline
every wound by design

all injury bleeds energy,
red blood dripped in lines

wishing for time to stop
wishing for the clock to break

a helix unwinds, then shatters
where do you find the patterns

where do you break the spiral
wishing for time to stop

in a dimension known not
wishing for time to stop

as the universe does rot
wishing for time to stop

may we reverse the spiral,
or is it all for nought?
