It's not my fault I ate all the strawberry laces. It's their moorish nature that's to blame!

The Moel Hebog shield (Welsh: Tarian Moel Hebog) or Moel Siabod shield is a large copper-alloy Yetholm-type shield from Bronze Age Britain. Found in a bog near Moel Hebog mountain, #Wales (1784), it dates from 1300–1000 BC, making it a true western relic.…
The #Waterloo Helmet/Waterloo Bridge Helmet was found in the River Thames (1868) by Waterloo Bridge, #London. Another amazing pre-Roman #Celtic relic. This bronze ceremonial horned helmet dates back to 150–50 BC.

This crazy contraption was made by 'Fonzi' of @BrothersUncaged (Luke Uncaged brother). He's regularly stopped by the authorities, only to be told he's actually done noting wrong. You can hear him entering east London, never mind the street. Nock it if you must, but he get about pretty sharpish. 🚲

That's way to catch @theJeremyVine next time he mouths off..

You usually only hear someone whistle a tune when they're carefree and subconsciously happy. It's for this reason that we never hear anyone whistle, as consciously and subconsciously, no-one has anything left to be happy about.

Just because you fill something up doesn't mean it isn't empty.

A nostalgic view from the greatest river on earth, the river #Thames, #London. The city, like our spirit, seems to have very much changed for the worse. #RIP London.

The sight of deceased pie and mash shops is a killer.

J. Young Eel and Pie house, central #Brixton, #London (426 Coldharbour Lane a few doors down from the Prince Albert public house). By 1977, it was run by Burroughs, who also had dining rooms at No. 146 Lambeth Walk. #RIP

Considering taking up private (historical) tours of #London and some of it's public houses. I wouldn't advertise much and most would take place through word of mouth but I'll make the public aware every now and then.

One needn't have received loyalty within one's own life to offer it's virtues to those whom will never know you did so.

This video from the early 20th century shows the jovial, silly behaviour of our predecessors who made the most of tough times. This wonderful, rare glimpse into the human nature of those who came before us is as touching as it is painful. Their like is seen no more.
