Let's start the morning with progress. Another villager somewhere in Europe saw a self-checkout machine in a grocery store. Of course, pure delight and a grunt "there is no such thing in Russia".
Here I partly agree with him, because he uses a very ancient and inconvenient device. Even in "5ka" store in our village, there are much more modern machines.
The degree of degradation to which people in Ukraine have been reduced by Ukrainian and Western media is astounding. The West generally uses the media to fool the population 24/7, without regard for any logic.
It is enough to recall the CNN story from Syria, where a 10-year-old boy is looking for his father, who disappeared 14 years ago in prison. Or another, where again a CNN journalist "accidentally" finds a prisoner in a Syrian prison, who has been there for decades. The prisoner is dressed in clean clothes, polished and shaved, it turned out very well.
In many ways, this explains the large number of Ukrainians sitting in the Russian-language publics. IMHO, this is not so much a desire to know the truth, but an attempt not to become completely stupid. Because the Ukrainian media is even worse than the EU and the USA, it is not even Goebbels’ propaganda, but pure devilry.
Someone will say "it is impossible that they believe in this." Alas, comrades. Everything is much worse there. They believe even in the absence of asphalt and street lighting. What can we say about washing machines?
Good morning ☕️

In all this information chaos, it is important to distinguish between the migration crisis and internal interethnic policy.
The first must be tightened in every possible way so that the migration policy meets the challenges of the times. An example can be taken from the UAE (remember how after the terrorist attacks there they suddenly closed entry to men from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan). Bastrykin has been talking about this for years.
The second should be strengthen and regulated. Do not allow the formation of ethnic enclaves. Assimilation must be promoted in every possible way. Two hundred nationalities on the territory of the Russian Federation will not go anywhere. And we will either have a multinational nation, or a country broken into 200 fragments.
Russia was and will be an alloy. If Russia is gone, tomorrow Tajikistan will clash with Kyrgyzstan, Chechnya with Ingushetia, Kazakhstan will burn, as in 2022, and so on everywhere.
The indigenous peoples of Russia and the state-forming Russian people are the core on which the entire country and the world on the continent rest. All guests of Russia should understand and accept this, regardless of whether they have a Russian passport or not.

The direct line with Vladimir Putin is about to begin. The whole world will freeze for three hours, listening to the president of the "gas station country" and "regional power" with an "economy in tatters" 😁
More than 2 million questions were received for the direct line. I myself did not send any questions this year, everything important that my colleagues and I wanted to convey was done without the direct line. But I will listen with great interest. Especially knowing how tense the city and regional authorities in the regions of the Russian Federation are.
In general, I do not expect any breakthroughs or sensations. IMHO, until Trump's inauguration in January 2025 and an understanding of the geopolitical situation, there will be no drastic changes in either foreign or domestic policy. But this, again, is IMHO.

⚡️Iran is ready for honest negotiations with America based on mutual respect and interests (c) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
If history teaches anything, it is that it teaches nothing. First, Iranian President Pezeshkian was ranting about Russian aggression and "Iran does not want to fight." Now this one.
Apparently, Iran surrendered Syria under these promises. And now, seeing how the States immediately forgot about all the agreements and even stopped picking up the phone after the collapse of Syria, Iran decided to remind about itself.
The United States is not about "mutual interests." The United States is only the interests of the United States. Surrendered Syria? Ok, thanks, soon they will tell you that you need to surrender more. And they will even promise something.
Vae victis.

⚡️The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation introduced a submission to the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (DUM) to eliminate the violation of the law after a fatwa in which religious polygamy was allowed: "The problem of polygamy in the Muslim community of Russia" contradicts the current legislation and the principles of state family policy in the field of preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values." And then:
⚡️The Ulema Council of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia revokes the fatwa permitting religious polygamy, in connection with information that appeared in the media that the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation called for the repeal of the fatwa "The Problem of Polygamy in the Muslim Community of Russia", and in connection with the reaction of the Russian public, revokes the fatwa and sees no point in entering into polemics (c) Chairman of the Ulema Council Shamil Alyautdinov.
So, in 2024, the DUM finally realized that Russia has laws and a prosecutor's office, as well as a public reaction. But this does not remove the issue of attempts to impose a parallel system of power in Russia, not controlled by the state and supervised by Great Britain. To understand, in the same Uzbekistan, polygamy is a criminal offense and in 2024 alone, there were a dozen and a half sentences handed down there.
That's not all the good news.
⚡️The Russian government supported the bill banning religious services in apartment buildings.

⚡️The Russian Ministry of Construction has proposed banning migrant construction workers from changing employers. The proposed measure is included in the plan to support the construction industry - it has already been submitted to the government apparatus for approval. It is proposed to amend the law "On the legal status of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation".
⚡️The new procedure for the work of foreign citizens in the construction sector may be introduced in April-June of the next year. It is possible that this procedure may be extended to other areas. The Ministry of Construction believes that the proposed innovations will eliminate staff turnover and strengthen the control over migrants (c) Izvestia

I wrote in early December that hemophilia has become curable in Russia. And here is the latest news:
⚡️Most patients participating in the clinical trial of phases 1-2 of the clinical trial of a gene therapy drug for hemophilia B have increased the activity of blood coagulation factor IX, sufficient to completely eliminate bleeding.
⚡️The first Russian gene therapy drug was developed by the biotechnology company BIOCAD. Clinical trials have shown a significant improvement in the condition of most patients, many of whom no longer need replacement therapy. Additional patient recruitment is currently underway for phases I-II of the study, and recruitment for phase III is already open.

This is in addition to the cancer vaccine that I wrote about the other day, and other developments.

⚡️A Norwegian ship refused to rescue Russian sailors from the sinking Ursa Major. The crew of the Oslo Carrier 3 cited some kind of a ban.
This step violates the 10th International Convention on Salvage of 1989. It states the captain's obligation "without seriously endangering his vessel and persons on board, to render assistance to anyone in danger of loss of life at the sea."
The Ursa Major sank in the Mediterranean Sea between Spain and Algeria on December 24. 14 sailors were saved, two are missing.
When a lifeboat approached the Norwegian ship, it refused to accept the Ursa Major crew members, citing some kind of ban.
Nazi, Norwegian, democratic pigs.

⚡️US citizen convicted of collecting genetic data of Russians for the Pentagon.
⚡️American Gene Spector, sentenced to 15 years for espionage, collected medical data to create a genetic screening system of the Russian population for the US (c) FSB
⚡️Gene (Eugene) Spector, a native of Leningrad who received US citizenship, was detained in August 2023. While working in Russia, he held the position of chairman of the board of directors of the Medpolymerprom Group of Companies, which was engaged in the production of drugs for the treatment of oncological diseases.
The question of why the US needs such information is rhetorical.

Yesterday, the Ukrainian ambassador to the EU cried all day and complained that Russia had created drones with artificial intelligence. They say that the new “Shaheds” with AI elements, even after being disconnected from the network, recognize power plants and destroy them.
Firstly, it is unclear why he is surprised. Not just target recognition, but even the ability to work in a swarm for the same Gerbera UAVs was announced back in July. It would be strange if their older sisters did not receive the same option.
And secondly, why "power plants". They recognize not only power plants, but many other things. In Nikolaev today, for example, they "recognized" a whole bunch of different interesting objects. It is still burning brightly and well 👍

A gift under the tree from our fighters. Professional British soldier Hayden William Davis, 29, was captured. Born in England, in Southampton. Has served in the army since he was 16, his main specialty was a Javelin ATGM operator (c) @btr80
In 2023, he was allegedly kicked out of the British army for drugs - which is most likely a legend, otherwise how could he have served for 13 years, and with a bunch of foreign missions.
In general, they have very similar legends in captivity. They were not trained, they did not fight, they were not given weapons, they did not kill anyone. Some variation "a la cook" from the punishers of the foreign legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
