Shohjahon believes that economic institutions play an integral part in the improvement of the living conditions of any country.

Sardor Sodikov is an educator and entrepreneur in education sphere. He has been successfully managing Karshi city based language school “Global Education” and nowadays hundreds of his graduate students are studying at different universities all over the world. Currently Sardor and his team are working on mobile app “Roboteach – distance learning” which provides language learners the distance learning.

Besides, Sardor owns a modest company, which exports its 24/7 dispatching services to the US companies. Although the company is young, it has expanded from 2 employees to 20 professionals. The company team strongly believes that outsourcing services such as dispatching, call center, IT are the remedies and robust solutions of unemployment especially during pandemic.

As the mutual business relationship is getting stronger, Sardor is hoping to acquire the international knowledge and experience during his visit to the US and contribute his efforts to the development of Uzbekistan.

Last year, U.S.-CAEF Fellow Akhmedov Boburjon won an EducationUSA Academy scholarship, a pre-college academic enrichment program for international high school students. "During the summer courses at Boston University - we visited labs, saw how universities operate, what student life is like in top American universities like MIT and Harvard. I really think it was invaluable experience" says Boburjon.
He and his team founded several college preparatory blogs for high-school students in English. - "I want me and my team to create simple solutions for complex problems. I really hope that I will be able to make a lot of new friends and have fun for the next 4 years during my studies in AUCA! After all, it is an experience that matters I think" in his words.

Upon requests we decided to extend the deadline for this fun cooking and sharing challenge until October 15, 2020. Now you have more time to cook and share, also gain the competent amount of likes on Facebook and Instagram.

2. Post 3 of your best recipes and pictures of the meals you have cooked during the quarantine. Please, note that if you participated in the last cooking challenge your previous recipes cannot be posted. Use the hashtag #FLEXAlumniCookoff
3. Earn likes on Facebook or Instagram
The first 5 people who earned the most likes will get a FLEX T-shirt and promo items. The next 5 people who earned the most likes will get a FLEX mug and promo items.
Those who have gained fewer likes and all who have participated in this challenge will still get a small surprise gift from us.

Please, meet Kamola Yusupova, another finalist of the Uzbekistan Business Leaders Program 2020.
Kamola was born in 1996 in Tashkent city. Currently, she is a 4th-year student at the Economics and Tourism Faculty of Bukhara State University. Besides her studies, for more than 10 years she has been working as a chief designer and marketer at a footwear company in Bukhara.
“I was lucky enough to become a finalist in the UBL program and I am very happy about that. Because this program will help me a lot in developing our family business and gaining new experience in the shoemaking industry, setting up new business contacts” says Kamola.
In addition, the UBL program will help Kamola to develop as an independent person, that is, to enrich her worldview, increase leadership skills, also master the English language to a more proficient level.
