Funny story

I finally got promoted at work, so I'm now a mid-level engineer (although it was more of a formality because I was doing the same work as everyone else), but the funny thing about this is that I received comments from my boss like: "you're very attentive to details, we lack this in the department,” “it’s great that you notice mistakes,” “we should make you responsible for projects.”

I could tell them a lot about the compensatory measures I have to take to produce results that encourage such feedback, but I just nod and accept the nice words about myself and giggle silently because I can beat neurotypicals after getting so many bumps
