📣📣📣📣Please join us for 40 nights of prayers from Ashura to Arbaeen, for the sake of the reappearance of the Imam of Our Time, Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him.

From a hadith attributed to Imam Jafar as-Sadeq (P), he tells a story about the Israelites and the blessings of their prayer:

Once, the Israelites were condemned to a punishment that would last 400 years. 230 years in, they made the decision to gather for 40 days to pray, beg, and supplicate to God Almighty for His grace and forgiveness. After the 40 days, God accepted their repentance and as a result, their sentence of 400 years was cut by 170 years. Then Imam said: Your case is the same! If you pray and beseech God He will hasten the coming of the Savior if not it will end how it is destined...

Is this not clear direction from Imam Sadeq (P) to all of us? Currently in Imam Mahdi’s (P) occultation, with our world distressed and where we yearn for his reappearance, this story tells us that through our collective prayer and supplication, we can ask God Almighty to hasten the reappearance of our Awaited Imam (P).

🔔🔔🔔Our plan is to gather for 40 nights, from the day of Ashura to the day of Arbaeen. We pray, beg, and supplicate to God Almighty to hasten the coming of the Awaited Imam.

We will recite Ziyara Ashura, Ziyara 'Aale -Yasin' and then call upon Allah 40 times with this prayer:
اَللّهمَ عَجّل لِولیّک الفرَج

Salaamun Alaikum,

Thanks for registering for AIME Camp 2021 - Ghadeer Edition, We are very excited and looking forward to seeing you all!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. These are a few important notes and updates about the camp.

COVID:
• Unfortunately, COVID numbers are increasing again in Baltimore-Washington Metro area. While we want the campers to enjoy their time together, insha'Allah, we will enforce guidelines to ensure safety and health of participance during and after the camp.
• We require all campers and volunteers to take a COVID PCR test before the camp. You will need to present your negative test result in the beginning of the camp on Friday July 23rd.
• Regardless of their vaccination status, all campers and volunteers are required to wear face mask in indoor spaces throughout the camp.

Transportation and Communication
• The transportation will be provided between select locations in Baltimore-Washington Metro Area to/from the camp site, the Camp Round Meadow. You will be contacted soon by our transportation team to let you know where we will pick you up and drop you off.
• Verizon and AT&T have very good signal at the camp site. T-Mobile and Sprint have NO signal. In case you needed to contact a participants from outside during the camp, you may call Br. Alireza at 267-205-6160.

What to bring
• Pillow, blanket, 2 bed sheets
• Reusable plate, bowl, utensils, and water bottle.
• Two sets of change of clothes and shoes (underwear, pants, shirt, socks, Hijab if applicable)
• Clothes for exercising in the gym
• A towel (preferability beach or bath size) and toiletries
• Phone charger
• Parents contact information (if you are under 18)
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Personal items as needed such as medication, deodorant, hairbrush, etc.
- There will be water games, so make sure you bring enough change of clothes.

We ask that you keep all your belongings in one bag or backpack and label it with your name and contact information.

We are trying to minimize plastic use. We have a commercial dishwashing mashine there and water fountain for water bottle refill.
