In the east, they advanced north from positions northwest of the village of Sukha Balka and captured new positions in two treelines and some forest plantations. They also captured multiple trench strongpoints north of Sukha Balka and gained a foothold in a forest plantation in the low lying ground.
In the west, Russian forces advanced north from the eastern houses of the village of Kalynove, moving along the eastern bank of a reservoir and reaching the southern outskirts of the village of Stara Mykhailivka. Positions were also captured at the western end of a treeline northeast of Kalynove.
