Update from the war in Sudan:

Heavy fighting was reported in Khartoum for the first time in a while.
The SAF attempted to break out of the encirclement in Omdurman on the west bank of the Nile and cross the Hafaia bridge. They successfully crossed the river and established positions in a new bridgehead, but following an RSF counterattack, they were forced to withdraw back across the Nile. This fighting resulted in the loss of an SAF helicopter.

In Omdurman, the SAF recaptured the Al harat police station and reportedly advanced south slightly in the residential area.

In Al Fashir, the SAF claims that they control the entire city, however reports indicate that RSF forces entered the besieged city for the first time, advancing in the eastern suburbs and have approached the local secondary school.
