Iranian Anti-aircraft fire is still engaging targets over Tehran.

The photo floating around claiming to show an Israeli F-16 falling is an old and edited photo of a Russian jet being shot down by Turkish Air defence over Syria in 2015.

Iranian media claims that a second Israeli fighter jet was targeted, this time by Iranian air defence.

Contrary to circulating reports, NO Israeli fighter jets have been confirmed to have been shot down. The first reports originated from a few small Iranian-based telegram channels, before larger channels began spreading it to other platforms.

All videos and photos published so far have been confirmed to be old and altered.

The sounds of explosions heard in western Tehran are from Iranian air defence activity. No Israeli airstrikes have been reported.

Reuters, citing an Israeli official: "The live broadcast of the army spokesman's press conference was interrupted due to an imminent Iranian attack."
