Lebanese outlet Al-Manar reports that Israeli fighter jets are airborne over southern Lebanon.

An Israeli evacuation helicopter has landed at the site of the security incident in Gaza. Continuous Israeli artillery shelling is targeting the Al-Tuffah district in eastern Gaza City, which could be the location of the incident.

The Israeli casualties are now being extracted. No clashes are being reported at the moment, suggesting that the Qassam fighters withdrew right afterwards.

Israeli media confirms that "a number" of Israeli soldiers have been wounded. No deaths have been reported as of yet.

Unconfirmed reports in Palestinian media state that 3 Israeli evacuation helicopters are involved in airlifting Israeli casualties from the Gaza Strip to a hospital. This is more than the usual number for a normal "security incident".
