Violent clashes have broken out between Cambodian and Thai troops on a disputed section of their border in the Ta Muen Thom area, involving light weapons, artillery shelling and Grad MLRS strikes.

Thai PBS news reported that Cambodian soldiers encroached near the border area, resulting in the Thai 2nd Army responding with artillery fire. On the other hand, Cambodian Armed Forces spokeswoman Mali Socheata stated that Cambodian forces repelled a Thai incursion over the border.

Thailand's education authority has shut down all educational facilities in the border area and activated emergency plans across the region. Meanwhile, evacuations of civilians are underway in nearby areas on the Cambodian side of the border.

Cambodian rockets continue to be fired over the border towards Thai positions.

Clashes are continuing on this one border section, with no signs of stopping yet.

The IDF announced that a soldier from the 71st Armored Corps Battalion of the 188th Armored Brigade was "severely injured" during clashes in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza. He was airlifted out of the Gaza Strip and is receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
