Kyiv is under a massive Russian Geran-2 drone attack. Dozens of drones attacked the city, resulting in large fires breaking out. More info later once some of the targets have been clarified. A few more drones are flying in to Kyiv/Bucha, so the attack is not over yet.

Footage showing a Russian Kh-38 missile strike on the Volchansky Oil Extraction plant in western Vovchansk. This confirms that Russia’s attacks here earlier this month, after they crossed the Vovcha River, were repelled.

This large plant has long been Ukraine’s primary stronghold in the city - following the flattening and fall of the block of apartment buildings in the city centre known as the “citadel”.

Several cruise missiles are flying to Kyiv. Unclear if these are Iskander-Ks or Kh-101s.

Over Kyiv, flying to Obolonskyi District, northern Kyiv.

Other missiles are following. Course unchanged through the northern suburbs.

All six missiles are over the city.

Missiles changed course to the southwest, flying to the southwestern suburbs past Obolonskyi District.

Multiple explosions in Kyiv. Missiles have disappeared.

Missiles had the characteristics of Iskander-Ks. Activity related to Iskander-ks was recorded earlier today and yesterday.

The usage of Kh-101s from a Tu-95MS/160 strategic bomber operating on a frequency not known to be combat-related is not ruled out, but seems unlikely.

Security camera footage shows 13 consecutive Iskander-K cruise missile impacts in Kyiv. It seems the groups contained more missiles than previously thought.

Disappeared around a minute ago. Probably electronic warfare.

There is significant damage to civilian infrastructure in Kyiv, although its unclear if any missiles or drones directly impacted residential buildings. The main target of the attack remains unknown, but I will make a more in-depth report on this and other targeted regions later.

Ukrainian air defence also hardly operated. Very little Anti-air fire, and a couple of SAMs lightly operated. No missiles were intercepted.
