Two Palestinians carried out a shooting attack on a civilian bus in the Ramot area of Jerusalem. Reports state that they entered the bus, and opened fire on those inside, killing 5 and wounding 15 others.
The attackers - who were both killed on scene - were reportedly from a village in the West Bank near Jerusalem. One used a Carlo-type submachine gun, as pictured in media 4. These weapons are often locally produced by militant factions in the West Bank but have become much rarer since the Israeli military operations began early this year.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has delayed his court session due to "security concerns," and will reportedly visit the scene of the attack shortly.
