I'm planning to upload a YouTube video tomorrow covering the events that have occurred over the past week in Ukraine. I will also report on Gaza, Sudan, Myanmar, Syria, Sahel, Red Sea, Yemen, Somalia and more.
I thought it would be interesting to start making videos again. These will probably be posted weekly to my YouTube channel, so subscribe to it so you don't miss out!

The vast majority of you don't know this, but I actually started off reporting on YouTube. I then switched to twitter because I wasn't gaining any traction. It'd be interesting to see how this goes.

I think people forget two main issues for Ukraine when it comes to Russia capturing the whole Donbas.
1. There is nothing beyond it. I mean literally, look at a sentinel map and there are no trench fortifications beyond Pokrovsk. But know the Russian command, they will be careful about their future advances. The flat open terrain which stretches to Pavlohrad is perfect for ambushes and FPV drone strikes. Don’t expect big arrow attacks yet.
Let’s just say that Russia can’t push beyond Pokrovsk into Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Well I think people forget Zaporizhzhia oblast exists, allowing for flanking maneuvers. Also Ukraine has critical manpower issues and can’t defend everywhere at once. Kursk has made this a lot worse too. If the Russians can overextend the Ukrainians by creating bulges, Ukraine will simply run out of men to plug the gaps. And knowing Syrksyi, he won’t pull out of the salients created between the bulges until the last moment, giving the Russians more time to push deeper into Ukraine.
2. Ukraine has been fighting for the Donbas for over ten years now. If they see what they’ve been fighting for, for so long completely abandoned, it will be a major hit to morale. Imagine this: you’re fighting on the frontlines but are being pushed back bit by bit, close and closer to your home city, to your family and livelihood. There is nothing you can do about it because of a stupid operation in Kursk, and all that you have been fighting for, what your friends have died for, is being lost.
This is one of the causes of morale issues among the AFU. Also from what I’ve heard, many soldiers on the frontlines in Donetsk Oblast are from Pokrovsk, so eventually they will see their home city occupied.
I guess my point is that the Donbas is critical to the defense of Ukraine, and people saying it isn’t important, is incredibly disrespectful to those defending it.

This comes as Russia launches another Geran drone attack on Ukraine. A few were launched from Kursk targeted Kharkiv Oblast, while most flew to southern Odesa Oblast in the Izmail district.
A single Geran also targeted Kherson.

Following the complete Israeli withdrawal from Jenin, West Bank, there are reports that the IDf has now pulled out of Nablus.
The IDF has been conducting an “anti terrorist operation” in the West Bank for 11 days now under “operation summer camps”
An IDF spokesperson said to an Israeli army radio correspondent that operation summer camps had not been completed yet.
So far, at least 30 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by air strikes, drone strikes and small arms fire since the operation begun. Clashes have been reported in major centers in the West Bank with explosive devices being detonated and small arms fire being reported.

A much smaller Russian Geran attack was conducted today, with only 5-6 drones being launched, all from Kursk. However, multiple missiles have been launched too, hitting targets in Poltava and possibly in Dnipro.
1 Geran drone attempted to hit Bila Tserkva, but was likely shot down, while 3 others turned to Cherkasy Oblast. Only 1 Geran is still airborne at the time of writing.

A few hours ago, the Israeli air-force conducted a series of airstrikes on Syria. Missiles were launched from Lebanese airspace and from the Mediterranean sea. A local Syrian source reported that three waves of missiles were launched from Israeli fighter jets, and that several missiles hit the Scientific Research Center in Masyaf. The Hama health director stated that 4 people were killed and 15 wounded as a result of the strike.
Airstrikes were also carried out on the Syrian capital of Damascus.
However, Syrian air defence did manage to shoot down some of the missiles before reaching the coastline as well as reportedly intercepting missiles in the Tartous and Homs countryside.
More to come.
