Massive explosion in Tver Oblast, Russia, after a Ukrainian drone reportedly struck an ammunition warehouse. Secondary explosions are visible.

Lmfao. They are as bad as the Ukrainian officials.

New Gerans were launched from Kursk. 5 flew through Sumy and Poltava Oblasts. They are now flying in the direction of Kaniv, Cherkasy Oblast. Air defence operations were reported in Cherkasy city. It is possible that some were shot down.

As for the other drone, it is flying through Zhytomyr a oblast in the direction of Rivne. It disappeared off the radar for 2 and a half hours. It could have flown into Belarus, but the Belarusian monitoring channel I follow didn’t report on anything. I’m honestly not too sure what happened as it must have flown over or near Kyiv, meaning that civilians would have spotted it.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have captured the town of Ukrainsk following a Ukrainian withdrawal.

Russian forces were able to take Ukrainsk into a pincer, threatening to cut off the last sealed road supplying the town. This forced Ukraine to conduct a withdrawal from the central parts of the town, and the Ukrainsk mine, retreating to the Terykon. Russian flags were also raised in multiple locations.

Russian forces have likely captured the Terykon, however there has been no visual confirmation of this yet. Ukrainian forces likely withdrew to the two strongholds (in blue) to the west.

Additionally, this Russian advance allowed the Russians to seize a major trench fortification (in red) to the southeast.

Now that Ukrainsk has fallen, it will open up the way for further Russian assaults on Hirnyk to the south, and Tsukuryne to the west.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have advanced in and around Hrodivka and captured new positions.

Russian forces were able to advance from their positions in the local school to the Zhuravka river, pushing the AFU to the western bank where they mounted a defence. This advance was in part supported by an attack from the south which eliminated the Ukrainian salient there and allowed the Russians to gain fire control over the southern houses and squeeze the Ukrainians out of the area.

Additionally, Russian forces were geolocated on the western bank of the Zhuravka river in northern Hrodivka, confirming that they had managed to cross the river and establish positions. Ukraine responded by shelling these new Russian positions, resulting in the buildings occupied by them burning down.

There are also reports by both Ukrainian and Russian sources that Russian forces have advanced in other areas of western Hrodivka and captured nearly all of the town. This is likely true, but still unconfirmed.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have advanced in the Hirnyk direction and entered the village of Zhelanne Pershe.

Russian forces likely advanced from positions in the treeline south of Halytsynivka and entered Zhelanne Pershe from the north. Reliable reports then came in that Russian forces had advanced into the southern part of the village and gained a foothold in first houses on the southern street.

The Russian MOD claimed a few days ago that Russian forces completely captured the village, however this has not been confirmed.

The capture of Zhelanne Pershe would significantly deteriorate the situation for the remaining Ukrainian formations still sitting in the Krasnohorivka-Nevelske salient as it would put the Russians just 980 metres from the last sealed road that can resupply the AFU.

Geolocated footage shows that Russian forces continue to make substantial progress in Kursk Oblast, recapturing another 88.6 square km of territory.

In addition to this, the villages of Gordeevka, Viktorovka, Vnezapnoe, Byakhovo, Apanasovka and Upsenovka were recaptured. Russian forces likely conducted this attack in two stages. First, they advanced from their positions in Kulbaki, and assaulted Ukrainian positions in Vnezpnoe, driving a wedge through Ukrainian-held territory. A possible second attack vector knocked the AFU out of their positions in Apanasovka and Byakhovo.

They then attacked uphill from their positions in the gulley, primarily targeting the village of Upsenovka, which was recaptured a day later. Building on their success, Russian forces advanced into the treelines to the east of Upsenovka, next to the international border. This effectivley cuts the logistics route supplying Ukrainian forces in Dar'ino. That would explain the reports from Russian telegram channels stating that Russian paratroopers were attempting to gain a foothold in Dar'ino, but were sustaining heavy losses.

They obviously thought that since the road from Zhuravka was cut (meaning that supplements had to come all the way along the road that leads past Sudzha), offensive operations on the village would be much easier.

There are reports that Russian forces have captured the children's hospital in Toretsk, therefore gaining a foothold in the city centre. It is possible that the adjacent high-rise building is also under Russian control, although the report didn't mention that.
