In the last 2 months, two new vehicle-based launchers have been installed, bringing the total to 4 vehicle-based launchers and 4 static launchers, which can launch up to 22 Gerans can be launched at once.
Additionally, an S-400 air defence battery has been installed at the western edge of the airbase.

The operations targeted Bilal Abu Assi, a alleged Hamas Nukhba Force platoon commander who led the incursion of Kibbutz Nir Oz on 7 October, and Ali Al-Razayneh, the alleged northern Gaza commander of Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The IDF acknowledges reports of civilian casualties in the strike that killed Abu Assi, including a Red Crescent medic, stating it took steps to mitigate harm and regrets any civilian deaths.
