Russian forces reportedly achieved a sudden 4.5km breakthrough in Kharkiv Oblast and have apparently captured the villages of Andriivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Vyshneve (Kharkiv Oblast), forming a wedge through Ukrainian positions in the direction of the Oskil river.

Israeli media reported that two occupation soldiers died, while 18 others sustained various injuries, during fighting on Lebanese territory.

Earlier at dawn, Hezbollah's fighters confronted an Israeli infantry force that attempted to infiltrate Lebanese territory in the southern town of Odaisseh, inflicting casualties among the troops and forcing others to retreat.

A new report from Hezbollah suggest that Israeli forces have made their first advance into southern Lebanon. The IDF has managed to cross the international border and entered the settlement of Maroun El Ras, likely taking up positions in the eastern houses.

Hezbollah artillery is currently striking the IDF soldiers. If Israel can maintain this foothold, then it would significantly help further advances as Maroun El Ras is situated at the top of a hill and serves as a perfect outpost which overlooks the surrounding area. Even a small foothold on the top of the hill will undermine the Hezbollah defence as the Israelis can use that for troop concentration and to protect reinforcements moving up the slope of the hill from small arms fire.

Meanwhile, heavy clashes are being reported further north in Kfarkela. It is unclear if Israel has managed to gain a foothold.

It is now reported that at least 8 IDF soldiers have been killed and 27 wounded since the beginning of the invasion.

At least 50 IDF soldiers have now reportedly been killed and wounded since yesterday.

Currently it appears that the IDF's 98th Division is the main attacking force in Southern Lebanon. The 89th brigade (part of the 98th division) which specialises in anti-guerilla warfare, special reconnaissance and direct action, is also conducting ground attacks.

Geolocated footage shows that the Ukrainian 17th Kryvyi Rih Tank Brigade conducted a mechanised assault in the direction of Novovodyane, Luhansk Oblast.

In my opinion, the likely goal was to undercut Russian positions in the bridgehead on the western bank of the Zherebets river and capture the forest highlighted in red.

It is currently unclear whether the assault was successful or not.

A Russian ballistic missile was launched in the direction of Sumy.

Israeli forces have been attempting to advance in multiple directions in Lebanon over the past 12 hours, but are meeting fierce resistance from Hezbollah. It appears that most, if not all of the attacks have been repelled.

The 36th division is now reportedly engaged in violent battles on the Lebanese border too. Previously only the 98th division was known to be conducting attacks. This comes as the 36th was pulled from the rear and deployed to the border.
