Reports from Russian sources state that Russian forces have advanced in Kursk Oblast, recapturing the village of Novaya Sorochina.

To do this, they would've had to capture the forested areas in the gulleys to the west and northwest of the village, and cross the railway line, which the Ukrainians are likely heavily entrenched in.

If these reports are true, then not only was this done, but the Russians also managed to cross the Malaya Locknya river and capture Novaya Sorochina, establishing a bridgehead on the eastern bank of the river.

A large fire broke out in Adygea after a Ukrainian drone struck the "Khanskaya" military airfield overnight. A fuel and lubricant storage facility was reportedly destroyed.

Israeli forces conducted another raid on the Palestinian controlled parts of the West Bank today, this time targeting the Al-Far’a refugee camp, which is situated northeast of Nablus.

An Israeli reconnaissance drone was sent out to scout the area for targets. Palestinian fighters fired bullets at the drone, but did not shoot it down. 2 hours later, significant Israeli military reinforcements were seen moving towards the Al-Far’a camp. More machine gun fire was reported as the Israelis encountered fierce resistance, forcing them to bring in more reinforcements. After 8 hours of clashes, Israeli forces withdrew to their checkpoints and positions south of the camp.

Russian forces are reportedly continuing their assaults along the railway line south of Selydove, although no advance has been confirmed yet. The longer they take to advance here, the worse the cover of the trees in the windbreaks will get. I suspect that we will see larger advances here in the near future.

I also expect that the Russians will focus on following the railway line, before hitting Ukrainian positions in the southwestern residential area of the city from the rear.

A recent report states that Russian forces have advanced in the village of Lysivka in the Pokrovsk direction reaching the centre of the village and establishing control over around half of it. The main attack vector was reportedly along the northern street.

The capture of Lysivka would put the Russians just 4.1km from the outskirts of Pokrovsk.

The second stage of the Russian counteroffensive in Kursk Oblast appears to have begun.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have restarted their counteroffensive operations and have made significant progress in Kursk Oblast, recapturing ~56.1 square km of territory.

Firstly, a single Russian armoured vehicle from the 106th Airborne Division with an assault group advanced through the fields near the Korenevo-Sudzha road. A Ukrainian artillery shell was fired at the vehicle but missed. The assault group dismounted and entered a Ukrainian position at the end of the treeline where clashes likely ensued. Another Ukrainian artillery shell was fired, landing near the assault group, likely wounding some of them.

Another video shows at least three Russian armoured vehicles advancing down the Korenevo-Sudzha road without much resistance. This indicates that the village of Zelenyi Shlyakh is now in the grey zone.

Both of these advances show that Ukrainian forces have withdrawn from their spearhead around Olgovka, likely using the cover of the forest to withdraw before the Russians seized it. This advance also indicates that Russian forces captured the forest to the south.

Battles are now reportedly ongoing for Liubimovka and Novoivanovka. It appears that Ukraine is slowly withdrawing back to Sudzha.
