A third salvo of rockets to Metula

Situation on the Israel-Lebanon border as of 06:30 4/3/26 local time - eastern sector:

Under the cover of artillery and air strikes, IDF armoured units began crossing the international border into southern Lebanon. They were able to secure the villages of Aamra, Maisat, and Aarab El Louaizeh, between the Ain Arab Outpost (which they have held since the 2024 war) and their positions in Syria, without any resistance.

There are also pushes being made from Metula towards the famous town of Khiam (which saw the largest battles in the 2024 war), where sporadic clashes have taken place. In turn, Hezbollah has been shelling the northern border settlements with rockets, including Metula, however most of these rockets are shot down. Hezbollah has also claimed to have hit two Israeli Merkava tanks with ATGM fire - one of these hits is confirmed, with the evacuation team also reportedly also coming under Hezbollah ATGM fire.

Additionally, Israeli armoured units crossed the border from Misgav Am and secured the ridgeline just west of the border, as well as the ridgeline further south, linking up their positions with the Houla Highway Outpost (which has been held by Israel since 2024).

Rocket salvo from Lebanon to northern Israel

Situation on the Israel-Lebanon border as of 06:30 4/3/26 local time - central sector:

Under the cover of artillery and airstrikes, IDF units crossed the international border into southern Lebanon at two new points, and began expanding their zone of control at a third.

They were able to advance along the ridgeline in the direction of Blida, reaching the outskirts of the village with little to no resistance.

To the southwest, the IDF advanced from their Aitaroun Outpost (which they have held since the 2024 war), securing the rest of the heights south of Aitaroun and entering the outskirts of the village.

Further southwest, Israeli forces crossed the international border from Yiron, securing a section of the ridgeline just outside Yaroun.

Hezbollah has not attempted to shell this sector yet, and these advances took place with little to no resistance.

+ ~2.43 km² in favour of the IDF.

It's funny to me seeing everyone call this the beginning of World War 3. This narrative is mainly being propagated by engagement farmers, but a lot of people have seemingly latched onto this theory.

I think a lot of people have forgotten what a *World* war would entail.

The IDF has issued an evacuation order for a building in the Haret Hreik neighbourhood of southern Beirut.

Ukrainian channels are claiming that a Russian Ka-52 helicopter was shot down in a friendly fire incident while it was trying to shoot down Ukrainian UAVs in Rostov Oblast.
