Update from the Kurakhove direction - Northern flank:

Recent reports state that Russian forces are continuing to make progress in the direction of the Kurakhove reservoir and are collapsing the front southwards.

It is reported that Russia captured the village of Kremmina Balka, possibly after bypassing it from the west and forcing a Ukrainian withdrawal. Battles are now apparently ongoing for Voznesenka. Further north, clashes continue in Novodmytrivka where Ukraine retains control over the western half of the settlement.

Further south, in Novoselydivka, Russian forces reportedly made a small advance in the southeastern part of the village, capturing a few more houses. However larger progress was apparently made just southeast of Novoselydivka, where two treelines were reportedly seized, with the Russians advancing down one, and branching off onto the other.

And finally, ground attacks are possibly underway on Stepanivka, in an effort to take the Ukrainians west of the mines into a pocket.

Last night, a Ukrainian drone struck an oil depot in the Russian city of Stavropol.

Israeli media reported that "A difficult event occurred in the Netzarim axis in the Gaza Strip, and helicopters landed in the place".

It is possible that this was a mortar attack by Palestinian militias.

Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets at Karmiel, central Galilee region. Dozens of explosions were reported in and around the city.

The US has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. It has an estimated value of $425 million USD.

The package contains:
- Munitions for NASAMS
- Stinger missiles
- c-UAS (drone AD) equipment & munition
- Air-to-ground munitions (of an unspecified type)
- 155mm and 105mm artillery shells
- TOW missiles
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-armour systems
- Stryker APCs
- Small arms and ammunition
- Medical equipment
- Demolitions equipment & munitions
- Spare parts, ancillary equipment, services, training, and transportation.

This is the 79th package containing military assistance since August 2021.

Explosions were reported in Nizhnegorsk and Dzhankoy, Crimea. Russian air defence was active, and locals reported impacts.

Israeli forces are currently storming the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas in the West Bank. They are backed with a military bulldozer. No clashes have been reported yet.

More than 40 people have been killed in a new massacre in Gaza. Dozens had seeked refugee in a multi-story residential building in the Jabalia refugee camp, before an Israeli airstrike struck the building. Women and children are among the dead.

Meanwhile, in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which is currently under intense bombardment from Israeli airstrikes and shelling, 3 people - including a child - were killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a residential building. 34 people have been killed in Nuseirat over the past 24 hours.

A local from Sumy recorded this video showing extensive Ukrainian air defence operations in the city. FABs were reportedly "raining down," while Geran drones were active too.

They stated that this was the worst attack on the city since the beginning of the war.

This video shows new Ukrainian defences being constructed. This was reportedly recorded just 10km from Dnipro city.

Russia is now testing a device equipped with a thermal imager, which can be launched to intercept Ukrainian drones.

I wonder how expensive this is, because if it is cheap-ish to make and if the launcher is reusable, then I can imagine that this would be very useful for them. And if Ukraine get's ahold of one, considering their creativity, they could probably recreate it and make it cheaper. It's very difficult when conducting ground attacks to focus on what's ahead or next to you if you are constantly having to look up to make sure no enemy drones are above you. And what makes it even more difficult, is distinguishing between enemy and friendly drones so you don't accidently shoot down the wrong drone.

I could imagine that this may be able to be equipped with something ai-related that is able to distinguish this, and would make ground assaults much easier. That's looking into the future though, and nothing may come of this device.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have made a small advance in the Lyman direction and have entered the eastern outskirts of Terny.

Following reports of a Russian advance into northern Terny, footage surfaced showing a Russian presence inside the agricultural buildings on the eastern outskirts. This may have been due to an attack from the north, however as that is an uphill attack vector, it is also possible that an attack from the reported positions in northern Terny took place. It may have even been that it was two attack vectors - one from the west and one from the north, simultaneously.

Either way, all the agricultural buildings were occupied, and Ukraine responded by launching FPV drones at the Russian positions. At least 1 Russian soldier was killed as a result.
