🇵🇸/🇮🇱 Hebrew Media: 'Hamas fighters misled the IDF in the operation that led to the killing of 4 members of the Ghost Unit. Instead of booby-trapping the first floor of the building, which is usually the center of danger, they booby-trapped the second floor to make the soldiers believe that the building was safe. Their plan actually succeeded.'

4 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the northeastern suburb of Khirbet Al-Adas in Rafah, Southern Gaza.

This area is right on the frontlines on my map, but interestingly, a while ago, Israel claimed full control over this area and the rest of Rafah.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian infantry advanced northwest of Selydove and captured new treeline positions.

This was likely done with an attack vector up the road which leads to the E50 highway. The Russians then likely branched off onto the nearby treeline which leads into the low-lying ground.

Ukraine responded by drone-dropping a grenade on two Russian soldiers, but they missed, and the Russians escaped across the fields.

A recent report states that Russian forces continue to advance in the Kurakhove direction.

This advance occurred in two directions:
In Novoselydivka, Russian forces reportedly captured the central part of the village and are now fighting for the western houses. They additionally apparently captured a treeline to the north of the settlement, as well as a treeline south of the settlement.

The other advance occurred in the direction of Illinivka, where Russian forces created a spearhead southward, reportedly entering the northeastern houses of the village. This would risk cutting off any remaining Ukrainian formations in Stepanivka.

A recent report states that Russian forces made a small advance southwest of Shakhtarske and captured three more treelines.

After reportedly advancing towards the intersection of 4 treelines, Russian troops then apparently went further to reach the next intersection of 3 treelines, and advanced up the adjacent one, taking up positions there.

Additionally, they reportedly advanced out of Shakhtarske and captured another treeline and a small forest plantation.

A recent report states that Russian forces marginally advanced east of Bohoyavlenka and captured two treelines.

If true, this may been done with a pincer movement, with two assault groups meeting up at the northeastern corner. It is possible that in the future, they will attempt an attack on the large forested area.

Following the reports of Russian troops entering the eastern part of Novooleksiivka, new information was received stating that they attacked the Ukrainian garrison there from the south and entered the southern houses.

This may suggest that the initial assault on the eastern part of the village failed, and that instead the Russians resorted to attacking the Ukrainians from the less-defended rear by breaking through the southern flank. This could result in a withdrawal from the eastern part of the village to the north.

It is also possible that they expanded their area of control into the nearby treelines (south of Novooleksiivka).

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺 New American electronically-resistant reconnaissance UAV in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to Defense One, Ukraine secretly received V-BAT drones and, having successfully tested them, is now requesting hundreds of the same.

It is reported that in August of this year, Ukrainian special forces encountered a problem with our electronic warfare in the Kherson direction, which did not allow them to carry out reconnaissance. Then, as a solution, the crests used the V-BAT drone, specially designed to operate in electronic warfare conditions.

They write that Ukrainian UAV operators were 40 km from the front line and were able to detect a Buk-M1 100 kilometers from the contact line, after which they aimed a Heimars at it.

Shield Ai manufacturer President Brandon Tseng, in turn, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces previously relied on drones with a range of up to 100 km, while their V-bat drone can extend the range to 483 km (300 miles).
