The first in-person votes for the 2024 US presidential election have been cast in Dixville notch, New Hampshire. The results show that 3 people voted for Harris and 3 for Trump.

Last election, all 6 voted for Biden.

Update from the Gaza Strip:

— 20 people were killed in Israeli artillery shelling of a residential building sheltering displaced people in Beit Lahiya, Northern Gaza. There are still people under the rubble.

— 4 people were killed and multiple others wounded after an Israeli airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in Al-Zawaida, central Gaza.

— 4 people were killed and multiple others wounded in Israeli artillery shelling of a residential building in the Al-Tuffah neighbourhood of Gaza city.

The Al-Qassam brigades claimed to have killed 4 Israeli soldiers after they blew up a tank, presumably in Jabalia, Northern Gaza.

A Russian missile struck what was reportedly an Industrial target in Zaporizhzhia city a short while ago.

A Russian source reported that Russian forces are moving on a broad front in the direction of Velyka Novosilka.

This is currently unconfirmed.

Israeli military bulldozers have been tearing up streets in the town Qabatiya, in the Northern part of the West Bank. At the same time, clashes continue between Palestinian fighters from the Jenin battalion and Israeli troops.

Ukraine has undoubtably been suffering heavy casualties in the battle for Terny.

Russian FABs continue to rain down on Ukrainian positions, with three FAB-500s hitting the same few houses one after another yesterday. Every single day I see FABs strike Ukrainian positions in Terny. Anyone who survives these attacks will probably be unable to ever return to the battlefield.

And at the same time, they are reportedly constantly counterattacking Russian positions. I feel that ever since the road leading through Torske was reportedly unblocked (if it was ever blocked in the first place), Ukraine has been funneling infantry and ammunition from Lyman, up the Torske-Terny road.

Pennsylvania: Harris +3%

Pennsylvania is a surprise considering it was previously a tie in some polls, and before that, Trump had a slight edge.

Additionally, Wisconsin is interesting as previously, it was 2 points in Harris’ favour.

Also the HarrisX website is down due to the sheer amount of traffic, so I can’t get you more precise polling data for this poll right now.

A few hours ago, Israel’s defence minister, Yoav Gallant was fired by Netanyahu. Gallant was apparently informed of this news just 10 minutes before the official announcement.

Additionally, Netanyahu is reportedly considering replacing IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and Shin Bet Director Ronen Bar in the near future.

The voter turnout of Whites is up by 4 percentage points compared to 2020, turnout of Blacks is down 2 percentage points, and turnout of Hispanics is down 1 percentage point.

All of these statistics favour Trump.

According to the Edison Research exit poll, 48% of US voters support Harris, down 4 percentage points from Biden's results in 2020 while 44% of US voters support Trump, down 2 percentage points from his 2020 results.

New satellite imagery suggests that Israeli may be planning to make a "second Netzarim corridor" in Gaza. The Netzarim corridor is a strip of land which separates Northern Gaza and Gaza city from the rest of the strip and aims to prevent Hamas from resupplying their battalions in the north.

This new corridor, however, would cut through densely populated urban areas, and would require Israel to demolish thousands of residential buildings to create a buffer zone which would include paved roads, command and control centres and defensive fortifications.

Jabalia was a hotspot of resistance, and was never fully cleared during the initial invasion in late 2023. This suggests that Israel knows that controlling the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp is impossible without literally destroying every building, so instead they are separating it from the rest of the strip.
