Recent reports state that Ukrainian forces continue to advance in the Toretsk area and captured the former TB hospital in the south-east of the Zabalka district.

So far, (according to geolocations and reports), during these Ukrainian assault operations, they have recaptured ~3.13km² of territory, including the entirety of the Zabalka district of Toretsk, a Terykon (industrial waste heap), a hospital, and a series of forested areas.

Recent reports state that Russian forces continue to advance in eastern Toretsk, and have taken control over part of a private residential sector.

Additionally, it is reported that they made significant progress in the direction of the village of Dachne, securing around half of the settlement.

A recent report states that Ukrainian forces completely pushed Russia from the ruins of Verkhnokamyanske in the Siversk direction.

Recent reports from multiple sources suggests that Russian forces have restarted offensive operations west of Karmazynivka, in the direction of the Oskil river. They may be attempting to bypass the Ukrainian positions in Novojehorivka which Russia failed to take during their limited offensive operations here in 2023.

Russian forces are reportedly conducting assault operations on Ukrainian positions in the forest plantations near Martynovka and Malaya Locknya in Kursk Oblast.

Russian forces have reportedly significantly expanded their zone of control in eastern Kupyansk after bringing in reserves. They have also reportedly advanced in the industrial area and have consolidated their positions.

Extremely heavy fighting is ongoing.

It's crazy to me how little media coverage the Russian South Donetsk breakthrough got, both in mainstream media and on Twitter.

It seems people are pre-occupied with more "important" topics, such as North Korean soldiers in Kursk (which there is still no proof of btw).

It is also reported the forest plantations to the southwest were occupied.

An unconfirmed report states that Russian forces have restarted assault operations in the Lyptsi and Vovchansk direction and that new positions had been taken.

In the Lyptsi direction, the Russians may be trying to retake the recently lost positions north of the dachas.

6 Tu-95s airborne, flying south.

1 Tu-95 took off from Engels airbase in Saratov Oblast. Additionally, 2 Kalibr carriers are in the Black Sea with a total volley of up to 8 missiles.

There are also ~26 Geran drones in the airspace of Ukraine, more than usual for this time of day.

2 more Tu-95s took off from Engels airbase. There are also reports that a MiG-31K is being prepared for takeoff.

Unconfirmed reports from a couple of sources stating that 15 Tu-95s are now airborne.

4 Tu-160s airborne. Keep in mind, these have never been used in this war, but it is an unusual number.
