A Russian KAB struck Kharkiv. A large fire has broken out in the city centre.

Russia has withdrawn most of it's Kalibr-carriers from the waters of the Black Sea, leaving just one submarine of the "Varshavyanka" project. This gives us a total possible salvo of up to 4 Kalibr cruise missiles.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian are continuing to collapse the eastern flank of Velyka Novosilka, and have reached the residential part of the town.

3 Russian vehicles, including at least one APC were able to advance west from positions in and around Shakhtarske, taking up new treeline positions as well as positions at a storage site on the eastern outskirts. After dismounting and taking the fortified Ukrainian positions, photos were published showing captured weapons.

One of the attack vectors of this advance was probably from Shakhtarske. This is because a paved road runs this way, allowing for easier mechanised assaults.

Additionally, there were advances to the north and south. In the south, the northern bank of the Kashlahach river was secured, and in the north, new positions were captured in the direction of the road leading into Velyka Novosilka.

As a result of these advances, most of the high ground has been secured, allowing for significantly better fire control over the town for the Russians and increased surveillance quality. This will facilitate future advances directly into Velyka Novosilka.

In the past 2 weeks, Russia has captured a total of ~284km² in the south Donetsk direction alone.

Note: This doesn't include the northern flank of Kurakhove. Only territory east of Velyka Novosilka and south of the Kurakhove reservoir is included in this number.

The Velyka Novosilka cauldron:

Russian forces are just 1.5km from the last supply route on the eastern flank, and 3.2km km from the last supply route on the western flank. Once those two roads are cut, the town will be in an operational encirclement.

Fighterbomber - a source affiliated with the Russian air force - claimed that 7 out of 8 of the ATACMs missiles launched by Ukraine at an airfield in Kursk Oblast were shot down by Russian air defence.

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have advanced on the western flank of Velyka Novosilka, and entered the village of Novodarivka.

After establishing a bridgehead on the northern bank of the river, the Russians were able to expand their zone of control to include the treelines further north. Using these treelines, Russian infantry managed to advance into the eastern houses of Novodarivka, taking up positions there. This advance also indicates that the treeline south of the village was captured too.

Ukraine responded by flying FPV drones into Russian trench positions and into an occupied building. Additionally, 2 drone-dropped grenades struck another Russian controlled building.

This advance means that the Russians have gained a solid foothold on the tactical heights southwest of Velyka Novosilka, increasing the quality of their fire control and surveillance over nearby Ukrainian positions.

Additionally, a small salient has now formed to the east, where Ukraine is holding onto their positions on the northern bank of the river, meaning that Russia most likely won't need to attempt another river crossing here as they can flank the Ukrainian formations stationed there from the north.

Geolocated footage and reports from reliable sources suggest that Russian forces are continuing to advance in the Kurakhove cauldron, amid large-scale Ukrainian withdrawals from the area.

In the northeast of the cauldron, Russian forces were able to secure the eastern flank of their spearhead to Romanivka, reaching the Sukhi Yaly river. Russian infantry dismounted from APCs and proceeded to take up what appeared to be empty trench positions. Ukraine responded by heavily shelling them, damaging or destroying an APC which was returning to the north.

In the southeast of the cauldron, Russian forces advanced into the agricultural buildings on the southeastern outskirts of Yelyzavetivka, taking up positions there. Ukraine responded by drone-dropping a grenade on a Russian soldier, likely killing him.

In the southwest of the cauldron, Russian infantry marginally advanced in the village of Trudove, taking up positions in the centre of the settlement. Ukraine responded by drone dropping several grenades on the occupied houses, as well as on Russian treeline positions nearby.

As for likely advances, reports from multiple reliable sources suggest that Russian forces likely captured the village of Antonivka, closing the pocket there from the east and the west.

An Israeli drone struck a car in the city of Tyre, southern Lebanon. This is probably an assassination attempt.

A recent report from Pro-Ukrainian source "Deepstate" suggests that Russian forces have likely advanced in the direction of Zhovte, taking up positions on the southeastern outskirts of the settlement.

If true, this would put the Russians less than 7km from the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk.

A recent report states that Russian forces have reached the city centre of Kurakhove, taking up positions in the high-rise buildings on the intersection between Prokofyeva and Peremohy streets.

The US is continuing to increase its presence in the Kurdish controlled parts of Syria and is conducting live fire drills.

- A US military cargo plane landed inside the Kharab al-jir base near Hasakah, carrying various weapons and other equipment.
