The death toll from an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Beit Lahiya, Northern Gaza has reportedly risen to 21.

This comes as Israeli forces intensify their airstrikes and artillery shelling across the Gaza Strip.

The IDF reported that a a short while ago, two rockets were launched from the central Gaza Strip, (presumably northern Khan Younis) and landed in "open areas". No injuries were reported. Lately, there has been an uptick in rocket attacks from central Gaza…
The IDF reported that two more rockets launched from central Gaza were intercepted by Israeli air defence. It's not often these days that we see multiple rockets fired by Hamas in a single day.

A Russian soldier fighting in the Shevchenko area reported that Ukraine has transferred around two battalions to reinforce this direction.

The map below shows my best guess of the main areas that they were sent to.

A reliable source reported that Russian forces have expanded their remaining bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskil river and have advanced further into Dvorichna.

They were apparently able to take up new positions in the southern residential area of the town and are now firing at the Palistina micro-district which Ukraine has reportedly fortified.

Sudanese Air Force aircraft launched a series of air strikes across several towns in the rebel RSF-controlled Darfur region of Sudan.

In one instance in Kabkabiya, Northern Darfur, a fighter jet dropped five bombs on the town's market, reportedly killing at least 100 and wounding more than 50 others. This town has repeatedly been targeted with airstrikes in the past.

This comes as the SAF is intensifying their air strike campaign against RSF controlled villages.

Palestinian sources report that Israeli forces have begun demolishing residential buildings in the Rafah refugee camp (yellow circle) once again. They start off by detonated remote controlled explosive robots in the neighborhoods before D9 military bulldozers are deployed to raze them to the ground. Some buildings are burnt too.

Meanwhile, it appears that remnants of Hamas' Rafah battalions still operate in the city from time to time. Continuous Israeli artillery shelling occurs in the central and northern neighborhoods of the city, while every now and then an RPG will be fired or small-arms weapons will be used.

It's safe to say that Rafah is yet to be cleared, however Hamas has been devastated here. I doubt Israel intends on fully clearing Rafah but instead plans to expand their Philadelphi corridor in order to have full surveillance over the area to eliminate any remnants of Hamas.

The IDF has announced new evacuation orders for parts of central Gaza (red polygon).

The areas include part of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, and areas east of Al-Zawaida and north of Al-Masdar village. Civilians have been ordered to evacuate to Deir Al Balah city.

Interestingly, most of the area that has been ordered to evacuate is a part of the Al-Mawasi humanitarian zone (yellow polygon), which Israel claims it won't target.

In my opinion, this area is likely being evacuated due to the presence of Hamas rocket launchers, as last night 4 rockets were launched from central Gaza towards Israel.

Last week, evacuation orders were issued for the northern suburbs of Khan Younis, also apparently due to the presence of Hamas rocket launchers.

Somalia appears to have entered a new phase of its civil war as heavy fighting is reported by regional officials between Government and Jubaland forces in the southern part of the country. Each side has accused the other of starting the fight.

Jubaland security officials claimed that dozens of government soldiers have surrendered during the clashes so far. There are also reports of drones being used.

This comes as the Somali government sent additional troops to the town of Raskamboni, south of Jubaland State B last week amid rising tensions with Juabland's leadership over the legality of a recent election which led to the re-election of President Madobe.

Jubaland reportedly cut off telephone services in the vicinity of Raskamboni and reinforced its security personnel in the area before the battles broke out.

For those who don't know much about the situation in Somalia, the government of Somalia is backed by Turkey and western nations in Somalia's fight against the terrorist organisation Al Shabaab, while Jubaland - a semi-autonomous state of Somalia - is Pro-Ethiopia.
